You know, I considered the G8 GT at one point, and actually test drove one when Pontiac was still a thing. That car was a straight-line rocket! My god, it had power to spare. But the fit & finish was really crude, and it handled like a sailboat.

I assume the GXP was a vastly better animal, but priced in the stratosphere... kind of like the SS.

You're in Charlotte, Lego. Go visit the OP. I'd sure do it if I could.

Before I bought my 03 sedan a year ago I was torn between my g and 06 6MT ls2 goat but obviously chose the g due to it being a more practical daily. Before I bought my ipl 6 months ago I was also trying to buy my buddy's GXP. Seeing this SS makes me regret passing up on both opportunities. That GXP screamed. Bet this thing is a blast to drive and +1 for the ultimate sleeper. And I actually think the interior looks nice

I've been in three different Infiniti's since 2007. The new interior is a nice change.

John some of the things you say kill me " handled like a sailboat." funny things I test drove on a few year back also when I still had my coupe and thought the same thing strait line this thing was CRAZY but if I have to turn OH BOY

The Blaupunkt radio was terrible and like you said the fit and finish was awuful IMO.

BTW my brother had a Blaupunkt radio is his 88 Scirocco LOL :/

I still have my G37 - i gave it to my son to use.

I've made some mods on the SS and thought i'd share.

I did the Holden Badge re-conversion. It now is badged the way it's supposed to be - as a Holden.

Still enjoying the Pontiac, I see. Er, Chevy... I mean, Holden.

It's like the bumper was made for the quads. Nice detail.

Car looks mean from the rear. And while it looks like a Malibu from the front... the rear is what most people will see when they take notice.

Good perspective on the photo, even if the shadow is pretty heavy. Post it up in the photo thread! https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-sed...h-dat-azz.html

Nice work on the re-badge. Looks much better as a holden.

The quad tips are very nice too.
