I bet it is because the Xenon output yellowish light compare to high temp of LEDs. LEDs are not brighter.

Osram Cool Blue Intense are expensive but they are the rolls royce of all headlight bulbs. There is nothing close or better than osram CBI.

Buy them and you will not be disappointed. I guarantee it.
I ordered these I just wanted to know if these put out some blue color or are they mostly white.

They are pretty white to me. I had them in my 08 TL and now they are in my 2011 G37S Sedan.

I daily drive the 08 TL which has factory D2S bulbs in it and they look very yellow compared to Osram CBI in the G37S

Nope. Anything that puts out blue light or bluish light won't be bright or considered good.

The further away from 5k light you go the more blue it will appear and produce less light output known as lumens.

Stick with 4300-5000k if you want the brightest usable light.

Correct.

4300K is actually the best light output with most lumens. Usually 3200 lumens.

5000K "appears" brighter to the naked eye because it produces a much more white light compared to 4300 which is yellowish. However the lumen raring is a few hundred less compared to 4300K. Usually 3100 lumens or so.

6000K is not pure blue, but white with blue tinge. This one usually comes in around 2900 lumens or so

What makes osram cbi so good is the fact that it's rated at 5000-5500K and produces almost 3500 lumens.

Not only does it produce more white color, but it's actually even brighter than factory 4300K bulbs. Also it's OSRAM which is a very reputable brand.

Every car you see on the road that comes with oem hid headlights all use 4300K.

That is the universal temperature for all car manufacturers.
