Vinyl wrap or paint roof

Hey guys. I currently have my car at the body shop having my tail lights smoked. Back in November I had them Laminx. Recently it started to bubble. Decided to remove it and have them painted.
Since the car is the shop I'm debating whether to have the roof painted a glossy black or should I do a vinyl wrap.

What are the pros and cons of both

Thanks

Gabe

I'd paint it if you plan on keeping the car for 5+ years

Either should be fine, vinyl for ease of removal if you ever want it back to stock though.

Body shop quoted me $500 to have the roof painted. Searched online for 3M 1080 gloss black wrap and found it for $50 shipped. I'm gonna attempt to do it myself.
And if I don't like it or decide to sell the car in the future it is easy to remove.

Thanks guys

Try googling how to "wrap the shark fin on the roof" that's the toughest section if you've never wrapped vinyl before.
