Standard to LED's (interior)
So I got my G37 last week. I have decided to start with something easy so I replaced all my interior and trunk lights with LED's. I have to take to the dealer to get my glove box and analog clock lights replaced. Also replaced the tag lights.

I've done the LED swap and like it but have had a few problems.
1. The dome lights never stayed taped and are resting on the cover.
2. The reverse lights look good but you lose illumination when reversing.
3. The glove box light is a pain to reach (changed cabin filter at the same time) and is less effective than the OEM.

Post a pic of the issue you are describing. You did get the 194 LED's right?

I've converted everything to LED (interior/trunk/license), but I went with Diode Dynamics rather than eBay cheapies. No issues with fitment or brightness (if you buy the right stage for what you're looking for, their brightness comparisons to OEM have been spot on in my experience). Only quirk is they all stay slightly lit while the car is on, but the lights are off. Almost like there's a shadow current running through the bulb that's just enough to put out a tiny amount of light. It's only visible at night, and it doesn't bother me, it's just a little odd. The abrupt shutoff is jarring at first, but I've gotten used to it, and don't even notice anymore.
