i bought mine with 5 windows with 35% all around. It was ok but I wanted darker, so i tinted my windshield at 35%. A lot better now, and from inside the car i have no issues at all with darkness, you can barely tell its tinted on the windshield.

That's just asking for a ticket here though. I don't think that would make my life any easier lol.

Personally, I don't like darker in the back - one color all the way around looks cleaner. I think 35% is plenty.

Go 20%! 35% doesn't even really look tinted on the outside. The best local shop near me didn't have 20%, whatever film they used the closest was 18% according to that brand, but they said it's really like 15%. I live in Seattle where cops really don't care about tints even though I believe the law states you cant have darker than 25%. I haven't found seeing outside in the dark to be a real issue. One of the things I really like about getting the windows tinted is that it makes the car luck SOOOOO much better, and if you get 35% it doesn't make a big difference in overall look of the car. Unless you think you will be ticketed on a regular basis, go 20% ! Just my $.02, and as I said tint laws aren't strict where I live so easy for me to suggest going darker.

I'm from Chi-Town and according to the person I bought my car from he said its 30 all around. I think its more like 35 all around since during the day when the sun is shining bright, its pretty weak, you can see clearly see throughout the car as if it wasn't even tinted. But when Its a cloudy/foggy/darker day, its pretty good. I was thinking about taking it off and going with 25 all around but Its already there and I don't want to pay a few hundred for something that's not that important.

It's not just getting pulled over that's a concern. Make sure your car will pass the state safety inspection (if required in your state). When I lived in Maryland, the mechanic wouldn't pass my car until I went to the DMV and had all the windows tested to make sure they were no more than 35% (MD law).
