How much would something like this cost to fix ? Can I DIY?

Pretty sure you can massage it out. Trick is to heat up the paint so it wouldn't prone to crack.

Yeah, if that were mine, I'd just pop off the skirt underneath and see it that's enough access from the rear to carefully get a heat gun on it and push it out. I'd bet with a bit if care and finesse you can make it look like nothing ever happened. I'd say totally DIY.

K I was scared I would have to replace the bumper. The thing is that there are scratches that are going to need touch up paint. Im going to get a few quotes to fix the dent and paint. If they are too high, then I'll DIY. If I go this route, how exactly would I use the heat gun the fix the dent? Also, where how would I be able to get the paint? Can someone maybe link a thread or a video?

I can't see any scratches, but once you get that dent pulled out, any scratches can then be addressed. And likely without paint.

Youtube has a ton of dent pulling videos. Here is an example:

Or you could save yourself a ton of time, aggravation, and disappointment with the mediocre to poor results you'll inevitably end up with buy just buying a new painted bumper cover and replacing the whole thing to begin with.

I think I left it somewhere in my late 20's a long time ago. So the easy way is often the way I'll choose now.

I would go with the heat gun. You have nothing to lose. If you can't get the dent out then take it to a body shop.

There are places around here that just do bumper repairs. They don't have the overhead of a full body shop with heavy equipment like frame straighteners, etc. so they charge a lot less. If you are in a big metro area I would search around for one of those.

You don't mention how old the car is. If it's more that a few years old, I would just leave it as it is. It's hardly noticeable and you will probably get a few more dents and scratches. My last car had dents on both sides due to inconsiderate parkers. I never fixed them and it didn't affect the price I got when I sold it.
