autokits rear diffuser

Hi everyone.
Was wanting to try out my first new modification on my new g37.
I was interested in this rear diffuser
Documento sin título

I know it says 2010-2012 g37 sedan, but will it fit an 2013?
Also, theres the option to have it unpainted, fiberglass and carbon fiber.
Was wanting to try the CF route, but was also thinking about getting it unpainted and vinyl wrapping the rest in CF to save maybe like 50$ plus i like doing any installation myself.
Which route should i go?
If i buy this, do i need to get any more body kits to my car? (meaning, will it mesh with the side bumper and the area around it to give it a nice proportional look or will other parts be needed?)
This rear end diffuser is able to be installed by yourself?

I know its a lot of questions, so i thought i would make a new threat just for my own selfish use.
Thanks guys.

It will fit a 2013, if you like the CF by all means order it that way. Trying to wrap it in CF vinyl won't be nearly as nice looking and trying to clear coat over vinyl isn't recommended so you won't be able to get a similar finish.
It is an install that's an easy DIY.
I'd plan other mods to go along w/ the diffuser such as exhaust. Just a diffuser on an otherwise stock G will look a bit out of place IMO.

Agreed. At the cost of unpainted and covered with vinyl, you're around $75 from true carbon fiber. Wrap doesn't compare in finish to real CF. If you ever sell the diffuser, it should be easier to as well.

I'm also pulling the trigger on the rear diffuser, I like the gloss black look of FG, would you guys recommend buying CF and wrap it in gloss black? that way you can change looks from time to time.

I like the gloss black look on the FG diffusers as well. Certainly nothing wrong with the CF look either, but there's just something about that Gloss black that screams pimpin against a white ride IMO

I actually think the opposite - from far CF looks like gloss black but then when I see it up close or in direct sunlight I think 'screams pimpin'. Different strokes.

Actually I've never seen either one in person. Only on this site and other vendors sites. I had no idea that CF from afar would look like the clean gloss black. To be honest I really wanted a CF diffuser (along with other CF accents parts) until I saw the GB on the autokits thread by 1ckeanG. I'd love to see a pic posted of a CF diffuser from a distance if anybody has one.

Btw thanks for the new (to me) info TonyHTX
