There are very few moments where "no homo" is appropriate. This is probably one of them.
Ah. That's why you said what you said in the RJM thread. Roger that.
That's correct. It's a good thing, IMO.

I'm going to bump this, just because I like this picture so much with this new boot from Redline Goods.
The four-panel design suits the area better than the OEM three-panel design. And the perforated, charcoal leather is much (!!) better than the OEM vinyl.

Thanks! Yesterday was the first day that I got the car out after the boot install, driving around in the daylight. I really, really like the new boot. IMO, Redline's Charcoal leather is an excellent match for the dark vinyl elements in the Stone Leather interior.
And indeed, there is road salt on the mats. It's been much worse in the past, but winter in Western NY has been AWOL this year, so I'm not complaining.

Yes. That really looks great. The perf leather was definitely the way to go. I would like to do that in black with matching perf leather armrest to pull in the seats for continuity.
Great pic BTW. Very detailed.

I can't imagine what you guys go through with all that snow and salt.
And having to have a winter set of wheels too.

Here is a pic of the new tear drop delrin Torque Solution shift **** and new Redline shortened shift boot to get the heights right with the relatively new B&M short shifter. I posted up some more info about this in my build thread. As a result I will have a regular height Redline shift boot that looks identical for sale if anyone is interested.

Well since this thread seems to have quite a few people who are very fond of WC Lathe Werks, I actually have a group buy going on with Chris right now. He's a good friend of mine and I had planned on picking up one of his *****, but figured I'd see if I could help him out with some more business as well as help the forum out with some discounted pricing. If anyone is interested, please PM me or feel free to check out the Group Buy Thread here: https://www.myg37.com/forums/group-b...ml#post3993936

The main point of the replacement boot was to replace the cheap vinyl OEM shift boot with a nicer looking shift boot, but the only aftermarket boots that are available are designed to cover up the factory trim surround. I'm actually ok with this, though, as I had originally planned to have that cheap factory plastic shift surround done in carbon fiber anyway, so it saved me from having to spend the extra $ to do that. FYI... There's an indicator on the dash for what gear your in, so there's really no need for the redundant indicator on the center console.
