Is yours a 7AT or 6MT? I ask this question because my '09 xS 7AT sounded sweet - not too loud, but it growled nicely. My '11 6MT is quiet as a mouse and I hate the sound.

While I had both cars I got underneath and I only saw two differences - the resonators looked slightly different and the x has a jog in the x-pipe on one side to clear the transfer case.

Well, In my opinion, I think its too quiet. I actually have a 08 with the 5at but its pretty much the same car. Also, I extended the tips slightly further than stock for better looks. I've heard my car from the outside and it sounds good but not aggressive enough for me. On the highway though, under load, I will admit it sounds great. I was contemplating removing the resonators and after watching this G25 with res delete and mufflers disconnected:
, I think I might do it, or at least change the resonators to aftermarket. I think its perfect except for a bit of raspyness and you could actually hear the real VQ sound. On the downside, Neighbors might not like the cold starts

While I was having the SPL front and SPC rear camber arms installed this morning, I got to see the underside of my car for the first time. How in the world can Infiniti claim 328 HP through the soda-straw exhaust pipes?!

I might try the "muffler delete" just for the heck of it. Really, though, a cat-back system just landed on my want list. So much for keeping the car stock.

Lol, so true ^^, and those soda straws have some pretty sharp bends too.
