Anybody try or have this axle back from ebay?http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav=item.view&id=191093587946&alt=web
Seems cheap just wondering if its garbage. Says beluga racing on it. Just looking for a little noise from an axle back as the sedan is so quiet. Trying to avoid the fart can civic sound....the kind that sounds like the car should be flying but it goes by at 30 and barely accelerating.

How is the Top Speed in regard to interior tone? My Stillen drones like crazy from 1700-2100rpm under load and drives me crazy. The rest of the time it isn't to bad.

So i was really debating buying that exact topspeed exhaust from ebay, before I do is there any problems with it? is it better then a muffler delete? how does it sound compared to stock/ other exhausts

I have the Invidia and love it. Definitely not a loud exhaust, at least not from inside the car, but sounds a lot better than stock. At $800 shipped I think it's the next cheapest option over the Top Speed.

That's a great price on the Top Speed Y-back. I trust blnewt's assessment. If I'm not mistaken, he purchased his early on and they have continued to make improvements since that time.
I prefer this Y-back over say the Tannabe because it increases the size of the tubing from the Y-Pipe back (60mm all the way through = 2.3622 inches). Most Axlebacks bolt up to the resonators, which on the stock setup appear to taper down to 1 7/8" where they exit and enter the axleback.
Is there a better sound clip than the one offered in their ad? I ask because they state "These Sound Clips Video's are from G37 Coupe the sound for Sedan is similar."
The coupe uses a single muffler with dual outlets, so I don't see how it will sound similar to the sedan's dual muffler setup. Am I missing something?
If I'm not mistaken, 60mm is the same size tubing used by Invidia. They also include the X-pipe to replace our Y-Pipe, but I believe many have already argued that the Y-Pipe is not the bottleneck on the sedan.

Actually when I got mine 3.5 yrs ago they were very good, then had a pretty serious setback, they went from nice quality rolled/beveled tips to very cheap-looking, jagged thin walled straight tips. Most of the guys that bought those either sold them, or installed new tips since they looked so poor. The sound has always been very good though, and in the last year or so they've sold mostly the beveled tip set so they're back in good standing.
Whatever you do make SURE you get the beveled tip version as I still see the straight tip set come up on ebay sometimes.
I've got several sound clips
this is my old G35 stock pipes(that a friend owns) compared to my TopSpeed on my 09
Startup and no-load revs
Up & Down run
Interior cabin sound
And my painted cans thread

Thanks blnewt.
Are the tips shown in the pics provided in the eBay listing the beveled ones?
Also, any thoughts on the comments they inserted related to the installation? Why would this setup be any more difficult to install compared to the others:
example:
You tighten the nuts&bolts on the exhaust on one side and move on to the other side the exhaust on left and right will not line up evenly and will be off in position.
Please tighten the nuts&bolts in rotation, right -> left -> right -> left and adjust the position of exhaust & exhaust hangers before tighten both side exhaust nuts&bolts.
For best results have a helper to stand behind the rear of your car to visually direct you to perfect installation.
