Very Nice! Excellent picture, too. What color on the calipers? And matching lug nuts... impressive. Oh hey, and sway bars in a bag back there. Awesome little pile of toys.
And where better to lay out a collection of new toys than on an Optimus Prime Blanky. Seems there's more here than meets the eye.

The two large bolts and washers immediately to the right and left of the engine cover are both M8x25 Titanium hardware from DressUpBolts.com. And a number of other miscellaneous bolts are also buttoncaps from DressUpBolts.
Best to take things one area at a time. However, there's not a lot of details available in the G37 engine bay to play with.

Not super exciting, but I did a gearbox and MTF change as well as changed the serpentine belt. A little Thanksgiving day treat for the ol G-mobile.
I'm at 43k miles now, but I had previously done the driveline fluids at 21k miles when I bought the car just to start with a fresh baseline. I used Amsoil fluids last time but I have never really been impressed with shift effort or smoothness. So even though I am a long way from being due, I swapped to Redline MT-85 for the gearbox and their 75-90 gear oil for the diff. Immediately I noticed smoother shifts with Redline fluids than before with the Amsoil (which was 75-90 not 75-85). Looking forward to seeing how the fluid holds up over the winter and those cold starts which were a problem before.
As for the drive belt, there was nothing obviously wrong with the original belt but at almost 6 years I thought it best to change over. The original belt looked like it could have gone a few more years but I had a new belt lying around and it was bugging me so I just did it, what the hell.
Sorry, no pics. Not that anyone would want to see pics of this stuff anyways...but preventative maintenance can be satisfying! Especially when a guy can actually notice a difference.

The radiator shroud is bolted down with basic VMS Fender Washers, in black. You can get them on eBay $10 for a pack of five. Lots of different colors... for example, the two on the coolant reservoir are gun metal, because of the white plastic. I also have them in the corners in black, and on the 3 engine cover bolts. The two engine cover retainers in front are posts (not bolts), so what I did there was use a titanium washer, and a simple SS acorn nut.
The two large bolts and washers immediately to the right and left of the engine cover are both M8x25 Titanium hardware from DressUpBolts.com. And a number of other miscellaneous bolts are also buttoncaps from DressUpBolts.

Installed these blinding reverse LED lights:
They differ from similar ones in that they have a projector lens at the end. I had the same ones without it and they weren't nearly as bright. Not a bad deal for $14 and free 2-day shipping with Amazon Prime. Nowhere near as bright in the pic as in person.

These might fit for $10. Saw them on a "M" forum.
