Yes, the s cars have a different optional lip that doesn't fit the non sport bumper. Not all s cars come with the lip installed - it's optional.

FWIW, below is a pic with my rear - Stillen spoiler, autokitsx diffuser, and a cheapo roof spoiler. Changes the look pretty dramatically, imo.

Just a comment on the xS vs. the S sedan. The xS AWD gave you all the appearance and comfort items of the RWD S (including the front bumper, side sills, seats and shifter paddles) with AWD. You don't get the BBK's, staggered wheels, summer tires, sports suspension or quick steering.

That Stillen spoiler looks good. Any more pictures of the spoiler?

For you guys who have the OEM sport lip for the G37S sedan, is this something that most people install themselves, or do you usually have to take the car to a body shop to have the lip installed?

Also, does anyone know where I could get an OEM-style replica of the above lip? I see that there are plenty of non-sport replica lips all over eBay, but replicas of the OEM sport lip seem to be much harder to find.

The factory lips come w/ templates that you tape to the bumper to get perfect drill points, you also must use a small 3/4" (IIRC) hole saw on the underside in four places so you can slide the clips that the screws feed into.
It's an easy DIY install, especially if you have ramps or jack stands to keep the front lifted for the install.

Thanks for breaking it down. Does anyone know if there are any replica OEM-style sport lips out there that cost less than the $380 - $400 that the OEM sport lip costs?

Have the sport front lip molded to the bumper.

A member did it here, looks amazing, and eliminating that obvious seam while making the lip more integrated really makes a difference IMO.

OP- I am also looking for a sport lip, but mainly finding non-sports out there , or pricey ones, over 350, so if you find a good 'replica' send me a link and vice versa, after that , will add some sway bars and mild drop and that should be a good start/finish for my dd
