You can see the paint line between the red & black.
You do realize the picture you posted is the same part that Rochester showed? The finish panels are the same for both journey and sport - exact same part numbers. Hence, they are removable.

^ You are right, I was looking at the part number for the finish panel (chrome ring) 622571NH0A.

The Bezels are indeed different (Sport = 622571MS2A, Non Sport = 622571MS2D).

But still, both bezels are removable parts.

Nope, no sawzall needed. You just need to take the bumper off and push the tabs to get the bezel out.

I guess infinitipartsusa is completely wrong about their part numbers.

622571MS2D

622571MS2A

Gotcha, but think I missed you earlier. The $15.99 chrome bezel around the fog lamps - totally removable. Sport & non-sport. Clipped from behind.

The black honeycomb grilles that OP asked about replacing - not removable on my 2013 G37x sedan, non-Sport model.

Remove the bumper? Nah, just pull back the wheel well lining and reach in.

Yes I am talking about the black honeycomb finish panel. They are removable. (Even if the part number might actually be 622571NH0A)

The compatibility chart offers illustrations for specific vehicles if available, while the main image may not pertain to your specific vehicle and is used as a reference only.
In case you you want to say that the sport bumper is illustrated..

Damn. Can't argue with that. Picture says it all.

Weird that the Sport bumper fog trim is designed completely different than the non-sport.

GAWD wins!

Yessir GAWD wins!

Thanks for taking the time out to take the pics!

Indeed it is very interesting that the sport and journey bumpers are designed completely different.
What threw me off was that some portions in the original pic were painted red.

But seeing the back now it seems like the red portions may be part of the fog light housing, possibly body matched since the tabs are red as well?
Any idea what those tabs hold in place if not the fog light housings?

I'm kind of curious to see what the hell you would get if you order those part numbers above - perhaps I will visit a stealership next week to see.

I assume those would be tabs for the chrome trim-ring.... but then why bumper color? Wouldn't they be chrome?

^ Yeah definitely. I am still baffled as to what those red pieces around the fog lights are and how did they paint them if the black trim is not removable?

I found this picture of a non painted bumper, the honeycomb seems more inset than most pictures of fully assembled bumpers - could it be that there is a removable piece that goes on top? But why would they make the backing honeycomb if they were to put a removable honeycomb on top. That doesn't make sense - so it definitely must be part of the bumper.. Right? I'm so confused.

On the exterior picture, the chrome rings are reflecting the red paint from above and below, cause its recessed. They are solid chrome, no red paint. I now see how this caused some confusion.

On the interior/wheel well picture, those same chrome tabs are again reflecting some of the red paint from somewhere. I think from the bumper inpact bar above. Didn't even notice this, but the tabs are indeed plastic chrome.

Tony - I'm in Houston a few times a year @ Baylor/Rice med center. I'll look you up maybe, grab a beer, etc.
