G37 and Q50 awd suspension compatibility
As most of the awd owners on here know, there are very limited choices for aftermarket suspension upgrades for the sedan. There are only 3 choices that we have to choose from.
1. Springs. This is the cheapest option to choose to lower your car without the use of a camber kit. There are a few brands to choose from (impul, eibach, swift) but this is the most uncomfortable choice due to very if no availability for a strut upgrade.
2. Coilovers. A pricier alternative with need of a camber kit but also offers a more improved ride over springs and stock struts. Again, limited choices here as well, Fortune 500 and BC coils are the ONLY available options.
3. Air ride. The priciest option but the most comfortable one available. Ive heard plenty of positive things about it but havent experienced it.
Back to option 1. SPRINGS.
I got to thinking and had an idea. I wonder if the Q50S awd and the base Q50 awd have the same springs and struts or is the S model different? If they are different, meaning that the S WOULD HAVE A STIFFER STRUT, then wouldnt the awd S struts be a better option for the awd G sedan? And are they compatible?
