Here my story...and I'm sticking to it!

I love the photo "reveal" series of pics in this post. Really made me smile, the way you did that. As always, your skills with the camera are top notch.

I like the 7 split-spoke design, and I like the width of the machined lip. Without that machined lip, I don't think I'd care for these wheels.

Not too fond of the matte black finish, but that's the kind of thing better assessed in person.

Absolutely do not like the engraved branding around the hub. That cheapens the look with busy, unnecessary design elements. And not a thing you can do about that, sorry.

On the car, matte-black wheels with a machined lip alters the overall look from classy to something more aggressive. The car looks more tough now than it did before. Would you agree? Is that what you were going for?

Why in the world did you keep the spacers, and not order rims with offset to suit your car? I don't get that. Anyway, fronts look perfect. Rears look like they're poking a few mm... which is an odd look with narrow 225/50 tires. Have you considered 15mm spacers in the rear, rather than those 20's? Or maybe it's the camera that's making me come to that. IDK.

"Selina"? Good grief.

Genuinely happy for you, dragion. Buying new wheels is a really big deal for a car guy.

Thanks John for your in-depth feedback...always appreciated.

Yes, I do plan on purchasing after the lease is up.
Since I don't have any desire towards the Q50S, I would rather buy the G37xS...plus no more production of this model.

I too am not a fan of matte black, but after seeing them in person and mounted on the car they grew on me...I find them fitting.
I was looking for my Yang to pair with my Ying...so I went with black.
Brad (blnewt) actually recommended going with the Hyper Silver, but choosing against his wise wisdom, I went to the dark side.
The most influence regarding my choice was my wife's...she likes them.

As far as the engraving...doesn't Vossen have something similar?
I'm pretty sure their name/logo is also stamped/engraved on the inner rim.

I was interested in purchasing a set of TSW Nurburgrings from a local seller who was selling them cheap.
Since selling my Nikon gear, I had a bit of extra spending $$$ and figured I'll get them.
Based on the help from Brad, I decided against it due to the tight offset and improper size tires.

I started looking for alternatives and saw a listing for a set of wheels that I liked on eBay...unfortunately, they were 20's and I wanted to go with 19's.
Continuing my search for wheels, I found the Bremmer Kraft BR09's at Tire Rack...the same ones I liked on eBay, but fitted for the stock G37x with a square set up 18x8.
Price was right and thinking that they were within my budget if I use the 225/50/18 Dunlop tires I already have off of the OEM "duck feet" rims.

Had some concerns regarding the fitment and wondered if they will work with the spacers. I didn't want to go backwards.
Again I'm PMing Brad...his response back was "golden" with spacers!

The photos might appear that the rear is "sticking" out, but they are not.
I will take some more pics showing the rear wheels.

I name all my vehicles...
And no I don't use it outside of the forums.

Name: Selina (Kyle) aka Cat Women.

That's my story kids...

I would like to thank everyone for their comments!

Like most wheels, the VOSSEN brand is embossed on the edge of the lip. Enkie does that too. If you've ever looked at STANCE Wheels, they're using a badge on the lip. It's a pretty cool look. Yours is the first I've seen with the branding inverted into the rim, and surrounding the hub. I suppose it would look better if it were cut, and not rounded... know what I mean? Seeing the word "Kraft" all by itself makes me think of Mac & Cheese.

Hmm... cheese. My wheels:

Love this branding technique by STANCE. Very interesting design.

IMO the engraving looks good, it's not getting in the way of the wheel design and is small enough that it's only really noticed up close. My wheels have the name on one of the spokes, I think it looks better than not having anything on the entire wheel

And the number one reason Dragions wheels look nice~the wife likes them!

It's not that noticeable...really.

Yep, that looks right to me, too. Very NISMO-like.

Ok, I'll say it again, fit looks spot-on!

Thanks Brad for the compliment!

The new photos are from my Sony A6000 mirrorless camera.
I sold my Nikon DLSR to fund for the wheels.

I guess it a little bit of both...you need the right tool to do the job right.

Well done dragion. I think you made a great color choice and the fitment looks perfect. So nice to see your G moving along.

Never seen these on a G before. Looks real good to me. I usually don't like dark wheels on a dark car, but I like this. Any reason for not going with 19s instead?

I need a good detailing.
I just washed it yesterday morning and it rained later that day, so I just did a quick wipe down.

Dragion, I have a strange request: do you have any pictures of the car when it is not showroom clean?

I also have an OB 13 G37 sedan, and I'm debating blacking out my wheels. I worry that if I don't keep the car spotless, the combo will look more faded than standard finish rims.

Lovely pairing and great shots, btw.
