Window Tinting - Rear Window Too?

On the coupe, I think darker tint looks nice on the rear; on the sedan, I think it looks awkward. Imo, get 35 percent on all 4 side windows, but get something darker on the rear (where they won't easily be able to measure). Perhaps 20 or 25 percent rear.

Going today at 3:30 to SunStoppers. Will give the rear window a try but maybe something not quite as dark.

I did The legal limit for my state on all Windows & going to get a Very light tint for the full front windshield.
Not for looks but mostly sun protection

my wife had my 2 back and rear window done i believe it's 30% last year for my b-day. I'm actually going in tomorrow to get the 2 front and windshield done in clear ceramic. to help with this cali heat.

I agree, wish it could have been darker legally. It doesn't help that i have the Stone interior either. With black interior it wouold look darker.

This might have been the way to go (buyers remorse). Coulda been darker. I don't think my car needs to be inspected for two years since it's new.

I wonder if the lifetime guarantee includes a 'I don't like it' one time replacement...

What percent did you do?

Legal limit in Texas is 25% all around which I was thinking of doing with the stone interior.

hey Im in Charlotte too, I did all four doors and rear window 20% at tint solutions in Mooresville, i.e. offroad use only.

I did 35% all around except windshield. $225 for Sun Tek high end. They do have something for the windshiled that reduces the heat coming into the car significantly. If i parked outdoors more often i might have considered it.
