I have done some research and have decided to get Enkei Raijin rims with Hankook V12 tires for my 2011 G37x Sedan with a subtle drop. I plan to go with the following specs and would like your expert opinion on if I am required to do any additional mods once this is in place. I want to avoid things like rubbing or getting cambers.


Enkei Raijin Gunmetal Rims: 19x9.5 +35offset all around
Hankook V12 K110: 240/40/19
Swift Springs for AWD

If I do get the above setup a have a few questions:

1. 1. Will I get a flush look

1. 2. Should I go with larger tires – example 265 to help prevent potential curb rashes?

1. 3. Would you go with a more low profile tire, say 35?

1. 4. Is 19x9.5 too aggressive for a G37x sedan, perhaps 19x8.5? I would like to avoid stagger set

1. 5. Anything else I may not have covered that you think I should think about?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not having any issues with mine. I'm running forged Rays in 19x8.5 +33 offset. At least right now, I'll swap out to the 19x8s for the winter. I'm pretty flush, running Hankook V12 evo K110 in 245/40ZR-19. For me it seems to be the perfect size.

Just watch the curbs ;-) should be pretty flush but maybe not perfect. Can't say about a camber kit since I haven't gone springs yet. Seem to be a bunch of people that haven't needed them though.

2. 2. Should I go with larger tires – example 265 to help prevent potential curb rashes?--I think avoiding curbs all together can help you here. Tires size is your preference.
3. 3. Would you go with a more low profile tire, say 35?--Profile will be determined by the size above, just keep the outside diameter as close to factory as possible and of course since this is the AWD, all 4 tires the same size.
4. 4. Is 19x9.5 too aggressive for a G37x sedan, perhaps 19x8.5? I would like to avoid stagger set.--I think the 8.5 on all 4 corners with 255 series tires would be the easiest, there are more wider setups being run, to avoid stagger get the same widths front to back.
5. 5. Anything else I may not have covered that you think I should think about?--Get an alignment check after a week or 2 from the drop.

NO don't hit the sidewalk-LOL
3. Would you go with a more low profile tire, say 35? It depends? you can but the Swifts aren't the most aggressive drop so there will be a little more gap with the 35's( Check my thread out lots of pics)

BTW Why not Staggered, I have run it for few years : I'm running
Front 20X8.5 +24. Rear 20X10.5+45.
With
Front- 245/35/20and Rear- 275/30/20. No issues at all

Staggered looks great, w/ an AWD you just have to be VERY careful w/ proper tire sizing there's only a couple suitable combos for each rim size. If your F&R diameters are off by only three tenths of an inch it can create issues.
If you do plan a staggered fit be sure to do your homework. ANMVQ has one of the couple 20" tire combos that are compatible.

Took a little bit of time, but my drop and rims are finally done.

For the most part I stick with what I said I was going to do, the only thing I changed was instead of going with Hankook, I went with Michelin Pilot Super Sport

I just want to share some pictures. The car definitely needs a wash... but overall very satisfied with the end result. Thank you for everyones input

Looking good & great choice on the tires, be sure to get it aligned if you haven't already. Did you end up w/ 245/40/19s all around?

Did you put the springs on? That last pic looks great from that angle for the ride height. ive noticed that the fronts are usually cambered in a wee bit more from the drop.

that's correct blnewt 245/40/19s all around. Its sticks out a tiny bit, but not noticeable visually

Tires look stretched and weird to me. I'm running 245/40 on 8.5" wheels in the front, so... to each his own.

The wheels are beautiful, and PSS are so worth the money. Congrats.
