2011 Midnight Grille Installed!

So after a 2nd attempt I finally got my midnight grille installed. Took about 45 minutes figuring it out and getting it installed.

Tip: Once you remove all the screws on the radiator cover, also remove them on the reservoir tank to be able to push back on the radiator cover more. Once you do that, use a flat head to pull the cover over the two pins that keep it in place. Don't use too much force because you don't want to crack it. After that, it's easy besides for removing the pins underneath the radiator cover. Those things can be a pain to get to.

But definitely happy I got it installed myself and didn't pay the stupid nissan dealership their quote of $250+.

Looks nice, and now if you ever need to remove your grill for any reason it will take all of 5 minutes

That's hard to believe. Why is you're dealership charging $500 per hour for labor?

You should write to NISSAN corporate and complain about that. Or just never go there again.

Well the guy said his tech wasn't sure how long it would take so he gave me an estimate of like 2.5 hours. I laughed, told him it should only take about 30 minutes for someone that knows what they're doing and told him "thanks anyway".

One of the best $130 bucks I spent for my car. The only other subtle change that I love as much is my Carsmo ***** and interior LED lighting.

Thanks guys! And yeah definitely worth the $130. My next mod will be the front lip if I can find it for cheap.

Got mine for $288 plus shipping, don't think I have seen it any cheaper than that.

Not bad. Is that for a non-sport? If so, where'd you get it from?

I have a sport, but I think the non sport is about the same or less. I got it from Grubbs Infiniti and then used the 20% off coupon code that was on their site.

Thanks AUR11, I don't think they have the 20% off anymore so I'll have to keep an eye out on it.

Grubbs still has the 20% off IeST2014 on their front page.
GRUBBS INFINITI, LTD.

Infiniti of Tysons Corner also has 25% off V25APR14 on their front page.
INFINITI OF TYSONS CORNER

Grubbs already has 10% off normal prices though, so the combined discount is more like 28%. Will probably come down to differences in shipping costs to your location from either one.

My dealer quoted me $195 (an hour and a half) to reinstall the radiator shroud/cover. Took 15 minutes for me to do....
