If a few of you guys were close by, then I'd DIY with some help. As it stands, I've an appointment with the Mechanic for Monday. So... next week.

That's way too low for me anyway, pledes23.

Looks like I missed this by a few weeks... coming from the world of cigar boards, meetups are a very regular occurrence. Would be cool to see some other Gs and get some inspiration...

New user here...

Rochester I had the same issue (well my wife did the first time she borrowed the car).

Turns out that the clutch fluid had boiled and aerated.

I drained/refilled/bled my clutch after I got the thing home... I was able to get it home by pumping the clutch, much as you'd pump up brakes that don't hold pressure.

After that it worked fine for about 20 miles then did it again (ie wouldn't hold pressure and pedal staying on the floor).

To fix it, the dealership put in the recommended Nissan DOT4 fluid and I haven't had the issue since.

What the service department told me was that the fluid boiling is a known issue and the fix from Nissan is the special fluid.

Just curious if anyone would be interested in a 2015 meet up similar to this one from April? Especially since it seems like there have been, or will be, a lot of changes of some of the sedans that were at that meet up.

I'd certainly enjoy it, as well. My car continues to be modded year over year, so there is always something new to show off. We've got some lessons learned from this year's meet-up, and can probably arrange for a larger crowd next time around, particularly if we open it up to Coupes (The Horror!!! LOL). Also, with familiar faces attending from the 2014 event, it becomes as much a reunion as it does a meet-and-greet. And that's pretty cool. Certainly eases the initial tensions of collecting strangers in a room.

Thing is, Kirk lives in Kentucky. Having him and Chris drive as far as they did for a meet-up was a huge effort I'd not expect them to repeat. 3 to 4 hours seems to be the extent that people are willing to travel, myself included. And if the 2015 meet is moved westward to accommodate Kirk and Chris, just about everyone from the East Coast will drop off. If anything, I'd think the 2014 Meet could move eastward.

Also, I put in my time as organizer last go-around. This time, I'd be happy to help out for 2015. One suggestion I'd make is to shoot for MAY, instead of APRIL, because April is still trying to shake Winter off.

Are you two stepping up to the plate?

I think if we could get a couple of people to commit 100% to going, assuming we all could agree on a date and place, we could split up some of the planning. Someone could take care of the venue, while someone else takes care of organizing food/drinks, ect. I wouldn't mind having it at the park again, except that those of use that'll have new exhausts wouldn't really be able show them off, like with the park ranger last year, at least he was cool about it. I have no issue with taking off from work to do it again. It was well worth the drive.

That's fantastic. This time around, we'd certainly hear you coming from miles away.

It looks like Mike and Kevin (Choman) will be driving eastward for the three of us to meet up this coming Saturday. It's about a 3 hour drive for each. Choman is moving out west this Fall, and Mike has made arrangements for access to #10. Be good to see that sweet, sweet loaner car again.
