I absolutley have to agree to that! If your getting the coupe for style/aerodynamic/etc... get the 370. It spanks the coupe.

The coupe has no objective advantages over the sedan. The sedan is lighter and holds people better.

(And the exhaust on the coupe is awful. V6s are pretty much the crappiest sounding common engine--although V10s give them a run for the money--and the coupe takes everything bad about the sound and amplifies it. Horses for courses I guess. BUT...if the exhaust sound was switched I would still buy the sedan.)

I had a 370Z and needed a trunk for work, plus it kind of sucked not being able to put a third person in my Z. The G was the closest thing I could get to the Z that also had the rom I needed

I have always been a big fan of quick 4drs - every car I've owned has been a sedan and I will likely never change that. There is something about the overall practicality of a sedan with it's ability to transport people in relative comfort and still be somewhat fast too.

Love coupes but have two kids. Even with the extra space in the back they still mess up the back side of the front seats with their dirty shoes and grubby little hands.....

Thank you guys.

Hey guys thanks for taking the time to share your points, appreciate it. Since I posted I have concluded that I did hands down made the right deciision with the Sedan, no question. I'm going to start trying for kids here in the next year or two and if this car is going to be the one that gets me through the next 7-10 years, this is it and not the coupe.

I definitley wouldn't mind being behind the wheel of a coupe, and I probably don't see it now because I don't have kids, but once I do something tells me I will at that point have absolutley no regrets with the Sedan. Thanks Guys

I just hated having a coupe for my last vehicle and vowed never to buy a 2 door car ever again. The sedan is still pretty sexy anyways.

The only 2 door vehicle i'll ever buy will have a roof that folds down for open air motoring.

I don't understand the point of coupes, in general. Not even just the G coupe. But coupes in general. Cost more to buy, trunks are useless, back seat is useless, cost more to insure, you look like your trying real hard to be sporty, I am just not a big fan of coupes...

Sorry, but that was the reaction to that line.

I have a sedan because I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old.

Maybe when this lease is up and they're 6 and 4 there's a chance they could get themselves in and out of a coupe, but no one is going to be happy with their decision to have a coupe with kids in actual car seats. Once they're in boosters, if you're really dead set on it it could be made to work, but it's just easier to have 2 extra doors.

I had no idea the coupe had a folding rear seat. What an odd difference.

Only by less than a 100 pounds, but yes, the Sedan is lighter than the Coupe.

I almost never have people in the back seat, and when I do, it's usually one or both of my kids. I rarely have need for the larger trunk. And the higher purchase price of the Coupe really wasn't a consideration.

Two reasons: the Sedan just felt more comfortable from the driver's position, both in elbow room and visibility, and the 6Mt Sedan is a rare car. I like the idea of owning something uncommon, even (or especially) if I'm the only one who knows it... This forum notwithstanding.

But if you're just talking about a G37x or Journey, then Coupe... no hesitation in that opinion. Particularly the Coupe xS, because it still gets the Sport suspension and brakes. That, and killer looks. Still, no 6MT, and that's a hard stop.

Then there's the Vert... But I hate convertibles, and I live in a climate where verts are silly (IMO). Plus, the Vert is crazy heavy, and for whatever reason, it doesn't have LSD.

And lastly, the IPL... But that's stupidly overpriced beyond its value, and is pimped out by INFINITY beyond what the design can support. Again, IMO.
