Might shoot a PM to jfisher or post on this thread, seems to be noise issues but this is the only review I've seen on them, so

Yeah me too and I only got one so far just taken like 50 mins ago and I'm not sure I like it and IDK if the reason why I'm 50-50 now is what you'll see below or it's just maybe gotta grow on me

The owner of the shop who did the work and has far more knowledge than most of us here said that SS expands which is true and that SS exhaust expands up to 2 inches given how long the whole catback is.

Now, given what he said, which I couldn't really believe because I've never observed that on my MXP before, he welded the tips pretty nice and neat but maybe a little too flush.

So what I'm trying to figure out is, is it actually true that the SS exhaust expands that much up to 2 inches? I mean, has anyone ever noticed that?

Maybe it will grow on me, or maybe I'll have to go back on Monday and just have them redo it to pull the tips out a bit more..

Don't mind the car being dirty... I literally washed her on Thursday and now she's all dirty again, freakin rain...

That's the only picture I have for now...

Hmm, I see why you're feeling reserved. Seems a bit 'tight'. I dont see how the exhaust can grow a whole two inches when its hot, thats quite long if you look on a ruler, maybe 1 inch tops, and thats pushing it. Well, Im no expert, and it still looks badass in my eyes lol. I hope you can get it exactly how you envisioned it

For what it's worth, I think it looks great as is. If it were mine i wouldn't mess with them at all. That said, I know that feeling when you think something isn't just right, and I don't blame you if you scratch that itch. I think the dude was selling you a line of something with that 2" talk because he didn't feel like redoing the work.

I actually have reconsidered it all and I no longer think they're not sitting there properly lol. I washed the car, had more time to spend looking at them from all angles and I started digging them a lot more than I have stated originally I like it a lot actually haha

It is what Brad (blnewt) has said in the other thread, it was a drastic change from dual tips to quad tips which takes some time getting used to thats why I was uncertain about it

Hopefully I don't hit any issues besides a little more nvh using the race setup.

Later in the thread he replied saying the following:

To clarify, I'm not unhappy with the arms. But they are advertised as minimal noise which is not the case as of now. I think this is something that can be fixed with greasing, but I wish the instructions would have called that out to begin with. I'm not sure if the 370z is any different how these mount, but now looking back there's no way these things will ever be quiet without some grease where the bushings meet the body mounts.

I don't know, I think you might still have too much back pressure.

Is that a flux capacitor? Has it been converted to run on garbage?

Not that I'm disparaging New Jersey. I wouldn't do that.
