Is it the heat causing the belt to stretch out? Or at almost 28k is it time to replace it?
The tensioner should make up for any stretch of the belt you may experience due to temperature.

I would visually inspect the belt. Age and environment typically have more to do with the degradation than mileage. If the belt still looks to be in good shape, I would then begin to search for the point of squeal. It could be the tensioner on its way out, debris adhered to a pulley,a bearing, etc. Or just cross your fingers and throw a new belt on and hope for insta-solution.

Those little, short, annoy-me-to-death noises are the worst time sucking maintenance that exists.

Please have a Taylor Ham and egg for me! From Slater's would be best but beggars can't be choosers.

Glad you made it that far and didn't break down on the way. I had a front bearing go bad on my old Datsun 240, took out my breaks going over the Walt Whitman bridge and my tire getting onto.... I want to say 42 but I could be wrong.

Lol was still wary of upgrading to windows 10, holding off to see what people have to say about the upgrade.

I also happened to come across this link for anyone looking to invest in leatherique for your seats. Leatherique Leather Care How-To | Ask a Pro Blog

I now have one laptop running Windows 8.1, one laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium, one tower running Windows 7 Ultimate, and one tower running Windows 10. We also have an iMac running OsX whatever. Not to mention the countless tablets, e-Readers, phones and one old Wii.

I miss DOS. Things were so much more simple.

Got a ticket this morning for speeding. I ended the conversation with "I guess my car was faster than I thought". Didn't even get a smirk. Oh well, I tried.

Just upgraded last night as well. Initial impressions are good. It looks pretty slick and we finally have the start menu back. Cortana seems like a gimmick but it's the way things are headed so someone will get this right (Have the echo as well and, meh).

Damn-n-n. I haven't had a speeding ticket in 15 years.

Not that I haven't deserved one. Just somewhat more circumspect as I get old.

G'luck at Traffic Court.

Sounds like me, All I know is I hate 8.1 and loaded windows 10 last night, seemed to take forever but I guess it was about an hour

Nice pic of a scuba diver on the background, so I guess it's a huge upgrade

Correct me if I'm wrong (I picked up a Macbook ~3 years ago and haven't done much on Windows since then), but wasn't 8.1 the OS that seemed to have been optimized for touchscreens? The one with all the tiles like Windows phones and it was always slightly confusing trying to actually get to the start menu?
