So about a mile from home today, coming home from work, I had the SES light show up on the dash.

I plugged my Kiwi cable into the OBD-II port and fired up my iPad to see which code it was throwing.

Diagnostics showed the following:

=====
Stored Codes:
P0158
O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage Bank 2 Sensor 2

Pending Codes:
P2A00
O2 Sensor Circuit Range/Performance 1 Sensor 1
P0158
O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage Bank 2 Sensor 2

Permanent Codes:
No permanent codes found.
=====

Obviously this is relating to the O2 Sensors. I understand that we have 4 O2 sensors on our cars-- two upstream and two downstream.

For any of you guys that have had more experience with this, what are your initial thoughts? Is this referencing the downstream sensors that plug into the FI RHFC's? As a refresher, I have FI RHFC's and my original OEM O2 sensors.

Notably, my Dash Command software shows the catalyst temperature and after 40 minutes of driving, it was indicating a temperature of 246°F (that seems cold to me). I've monitored this before and under normal city driving, it's 750-850°F and always around 400-500°F at idle. In addition, my exhaust has a slight smell to it that is like a touch of the smell you get when you're running test pipes.

I have to get an inspection in the next month so hopefully I can resolve this easily. If I can get it up in the air, I'll try swapping the sensors and seeing if it moves to bank 1. Is this generally a sign that the sensor is done? Never had issues with O2 sensors before but then again, have never messed with the aftermarket exhausts either.

Thanks in advance!

I had that sensor problem but it was after being tuned. Do you have a tune?

Worst. Winter. Ever.

Probably won't swap wheels until April.

Every time I see that picture, I get tingles. Tingles in special places

I appreciate the irony of your wall decoration.

I've had the OE RE 050A, then the S-04 pole positions, now Pilot Super Sports--and I only have 24k on my car

The S-04 was my favorite. Quieter, sharper steering response, and better traction in the wet and dry from a stop.

LOL. Those Vossens are car ****, I'll give you that.

As much as I miss the look, I'm actually more jazzed up to get those PSS back on the car and drive on pavement that isn't 10*F.

Any of you guys running 20x10.5 +45 check inside clearance of wheels on how much room you have? I know camber settings will affect this but Im assuming most are running "factory specs" Sorry if this has been asked before...

No tune here Alfredo...just running stock. I've thought about getting a tune though.

I drove to work today with the OBD-II monitor plugged in and the cat temperature was more what I'd expect at highway speeds...982°F. But with a few minutes of idling, it was ≈ 349° so that's probably pretty normal for these ambient temps we've had in the high 20's.

Just wanted to share some pics of my wheels. These are the niche version of the vossen CVTs. I love them and they are considerably cheaper than the vossens. I couldn't see myself paying that much for cast wheels so Im glad I went this route but here they are. Also just picked up some fortune 500 coils today as well. Suppose to be the prototype versions for the AWD

The setup is
20x8.5 35
20x10.5 30
235/35/20
275/30/20

I wonder what is causing this problem. Maybe you could talk to a tuner about this problem to see if a tune can possibly solve the problem.

Thanks for chiming in Alfredo. You're an officer and a gentleman. I will give my shop guy a call. I'm considering just taking it to the dealer and letting them have at it. I've got an extended warranty. I'd kind of like to have my O2 sensors in order before I get a tune. But as it stands right now, with the slick Michelin's on the rear and these O2 sensor codes, I'm not gonna pass inspection.

Nice wheels Twista, they look nice! How much of a drop do you plan on doing?

John, just out of curiosity, how many miles do you have on those PSS's? Kinda curious how many 32nds of an inch are left.
