I believe I'm missing a couple wires/pins...does anyone have any information on the mfg and or p/n that dball uses for their terminals? the things are freakin tiny

Can't use a DBALL OR DBALL2 as they don't offer 3x lock button press on factory remote. You'd need to get the DBALL2PRO and associated harness (THNISS3C). That still supports that feature plus many more.

is it the same process to install as the DBALL OR DBALL2 and do I have to get it programmed/flashed or it come pre program?

You have the incorrect harness. You need this harness:

Contact Directed to inquire if the installation is the same. I cannot answer that question. Also the module won't come preflashed unless the vendor can do that for you. Anyone with an XKLoader 2 can flash for you.

I also have the Viper Smart Start and love it! I went with the non-GPS version as I did not feel I needed the extra features. I just love that I can start my car at the train station while I'm still about 5 minutes away on the train!

I have order the XKLoader2 from ebay, it should be here in the next couple of weeks with the DBALL2pro and the harness.

I am having difficulty installing mine... I bought a 4x10 (new module) with the T-Harness and can't get it to work. I had the unit pre-flashed, but I am going to order the xkloader2 so that I can mess with programming.

A few years ago I used to install remote starts on the side... I've done probably over 100 of them on various cars... old to new. I stopped doing them for some time, then it was time to do my 2012 G37x. Easiest install I have ever done due to the harness and module capabilities. The 4x10 gives me the "green light" after module programming is successful. When I try to remote start, absolutely nothing happens (3x lock). It's driving me nuts. I am going to order the xkloader2 so that I can flash myself. I saw about 30 options when flashing and maybe one of those options isn't set right?

Anyone here experience this? Where the module programs successfully, but then the remote start doesn't work at all? All the wires are hooked up properly. I am curious though, what exactly gives the RS module the "signal" to start? IN the case of a regular remote start install, the antenna receives the signal and then the module attempts to start, assuming everything is connected properly.

In this case, when using 3x lock, what gives the signal? Is it supposed to come from the OBDII after pushing lock 3x? If I know what triggers the module, it may help me diagnose my issue... I'm so confused right now. I've spent over 15 hours trying different methods of making this thing work. Next step is to order the xkloader and see what options I can mess with on there for a new flash...

Hey connoisseurr:
This is what happen when I connected the flashtool,
first it said it wasn't compatible to my device so I had to create a log in and after some troubleshooting, the flash button came, I pressed it and it started to flash and there was a green light on the module that kept flashing too.
after viewing the pictures some of the picture posted it does look different compare to mine.

just wanted to make sure everything is ok

now have to make sure the install is the same

Hey I sent you a PM about the DBALL2 and the DBALL2 PRO.

If anyone else may know that would be great;
But I went to an electronic shop today and they have the DBALL2 in stock and said that it will support the 3x lock button...
The guy also read the message on the xpresskit.com site and stated that it will work...

HOWEVER, you stated that it doesn't support that feature, and I looked at Xpresskit.com and the message popped up stating "that the DBALL or DBALL2 purchased after Oct 1,2014 doesn't support that feature."

My question to you is that, does the DBALL2Pro support the 3x lock button for Remote start?
Appreciate the help, because the price difference is about $100-$150 for the DBALL2PRO and the optional T-Harness.

According to this picture it does support, if you look at the Dball2pro there's a dot under 3x locks start (start control using OEM remote).
The only thing is to make sure its the same install as the dball/2
