What is your opinion: brushed stainless or "high polish"? Having a hard time deciding.
Infiniti G (CV36 & V36) - Carsmo Design
edit: nevermind that question, the high-polished may be a bit too glammy for my interior.
But may I ask, to those who bought these *****: you know how some stainless steel surfaces have that tendency to highlight/magnify fingerprints? Do these ***** have that tendency?

Not to derail a great thread but real quick, lol...
Would this be worth doing on a stock set up VQ with not much else but MAF tubes and K&N drop ins? Or would it be best suited for a CAI like a Stillen etc.. and CBE?
I've read a couple threads on here regarding the M370. I think you and a couple of other members commented on it awhile back?
There's a slight drop off of HP/trq in the low to mid range but an increase the upper range? But you and had some other mods to your car already at the time as well? Correct me if i'm wrong
I'm looking for low end. Any recommendations? I drive 99% of the time in the city limits. Rarely on the highway.

Really quick also
M370= more low end and mid range, loses stream above 7200 RPMS

Good question. I'm looking at those *****, but would probably keep them brushed just because they would match the interior panels, though the bezel around the analog clock is polished and would give the polished ***** an anchor as far as placement. HEHE...polished *****.

just hit mid to high rev range in low gear
the m370 alone does get work. the concept is plenum shape and capacity.
However, it would work better with a port DIY.
Maybe someone can create the proper porting stencil to use so we can all just dremel/sandpaper our plastic manifolds

Same exact thoughts here. The nav system scrollwheel is kinda chromey as well, but I went with the brushed.

The high polished version are out of stock for an indefinite period of time, so they will not be available anytime soon. Sorry.

Sport Pedals and GTR clear map lenses installed....paid under $40(including expedited shipping from China) for the pedals, $31 shipped for the map lenses.
I’ve been in and out of the forum for some reading but haven’t posted in awhile. I finally got around to installing some of the mods that I received earlier this month….so many things to do…so little time…
I always wanted sport pedals on my G, but have been reluctant to order since I haven’t seen a lot of options that I liked but came across a set on eBay. They arrived well packaged and included all the necessary parts - however, it would have been nice/helpful to have a small nut wrench included but I was able to manage with my own tools.
The pedals are light weight brushed aluminum with thick rubber inserts for added pedal grip/non-slip. 4 aluminum pieces included in kit with set of screws (allen and self tapping), washers (flat and locking), nuts, allen wrench. Install was pretty straight forward. screw in foot rest pedal with self tapping screws, drill through e-brake, brake and accelerator pedals.
Took me about an hour to finish the install. I used painters tape to help mark drill points as well as C clamp to help keep things lined up. Much better appearance and works really well - we’ve had some rain here so I was able to put the non-slip pedals to the test.
Stock pedals - sorry for the dirty floor LOL.
Sport pedals
The GTR clear map lenses were an easy upgrade….really quick to replace the frosted map lenses in our G’s. Part numbers:
Both mods were inexpensive and added a nice touch…

Thanks! For the foot rest (dead pedal), the replacement fits directly over the existing area and just use the self tapping screws provided to hold it in place. For the E-brake and brake pedal, you have to remove the OEM rubber cover and drill thru the metal then place the replacement over it (just save the OEM rubber covers when returning to stock), for the gas pedal, just screw directly through OE plastic and place the replacement over it...the screws and nuts provided hold the sport pedals in place securely.... No issues with my install and I have plenty of grip on the pedals
