Ok so let me get this right, the rsb for the rwd sedan will fit the awd sedan? So if that's the case then how come when I called whiteline suspension their rsb that they sell fits the rwd sedan but not the awd sedan? Can someone please verify this, b/c I wanted to upgrade only my rsb for my x sedan 09

Yes, RSB from a Sport will fit the AWD Sedan. I have RSB from a sport coupe on my 09xS.

I'll let you know about the non-Sport rwd rsb...I should be getting mine in a few days and probably install it on my '10xS a few days afterwards....As you can read we're having a little discussion on whether or not the the rsb on the rwd S is the same as the non-S. I wonder if the coupe, either non-S or S, is the same as the sedan? I checked out the part # and the coupe came up different: 562301BA1B....Hhhhmmmm...

I finally installed the RWD RSB....It was a pretty easy install...Backed up onto ramps...removed the stock sway bar by unbolting it and dropping the left side of the exhaust from the sway to the rear muffler...slid the puny 17.7mm bar out and slid the 24.3mm bar into place..then bolted everything back up! ~30-40mins.

The car definitely feels lighter in the turns...and more willing to rotate...the effect is noticeable, but not overtly. I do notice now that since the rear is "lighter" the ESC kicks in more-so when I drive a bit aggressively in the twisties...It can also be a combination of both the stiffer RSB and the slick Dunlops that came with the car (I can't wait to get a set of Continental DWSs). Infiniti probably put a smaller RSB in the Gx to keep the rear wheels planted and in contact with the pavement around turns and twisties...With the stiffer bar the ESC probably notices the rear lift/slip and wants to send power to the front wheels more often...But overall it's probably the best $40 I'll spend on the G..

Looking into this as a quick option for my X.

Question though, if I do the G37S rear sway and later want to upgrade the front will I experience instability by mixing and matching?

Picked up a rear sway bar from a 370Z for 50 bucks with end links, bushings and brackets. Can't wait to install it when the weather warms up here.

It depends. Most people on here want a stiffer front, so if I were you, I'd upgrade the front sway bar first then the rear later. You will get too much oversteer for having stiffer rear sway bars.

This would be extremely dangerous if you're doing high speed sudden turns.

You can imagine on a high speed left turn, the stiffer rear sway bar will cause your driver's side rear wheel to lift off the ground and lose grip. Vice versa on a high speed right turn. You're making a tail happy car even more tail happy.

I know this isn't a good comparison, but generally, you want more grip in the rear wheels (that's why tire manufacturers ALWAYS recommend new tires should be installed in the rear, not the front.)

^ Thats where the front would engage and pull through the corner. I prob won't be high speed cornering in the sedan, but I am a nut at times.

The rear bar is the weak link at 17mm, so that is my thought there, and then later to upgrade the front for added handling. or so I would hope.

I would suppose installing a G37s rear sway won't do much harm since you're not making the rear too stiff, so you could try it.

My car has the adjustable Hotchkis sways, which are way stiffer and I have no problem.

i just bought the Hotchkis sways for my G37x and will get them put in within the next couple days ill let you guys know what i think about ride quality as I'm stock all the way around other then these

It would seem that they are a bit smaller than the Hotchkis - but it might be the case that 'it's not the size but how it's made'? (yes - that was a stretch at a joke, but anyway...)

For that price get the hotchki's bars which are stiffer, of course they don't include the endlinks..

I called their customer service and they could not verify the bar thickness what so ever. I was hoping it would be indicated. Does anyone have any familiarity with ordering here?

Most of this is about sedans.... can I install S coupe rear sways on my G37x Coupe... Will it also help.... or do the lift as discussed above..?
