Maybe it's pre-coffee fugue state, but I'm still confused here. Let's collect the thickness specs in one simple, definitive statement. Granted, this is just thickness, and not spring-rate, but not an engineer, LOL.

Dragion, can you fill in the blanks? And not that it hugely matters one way or the other. Like I said earlier, it's just a curious exercise in miscellaneous information.

RWD G-Sedan (Non-Sport)
??.? mm Front
??.? mm Rear

RWD G-Sedan (Sport-Package)
??.? mm Front
24.2 mm Rear

AWD G-Sedan (Sport Package irrelevant)
31.7 mm Front
17.7 mm Rear

Hotchkis aftermarket sways
33.0 mm Front
28.5 mm Rear

I was considering going with Hotchkis sways, but considering the cost & slight difference...I went for the best bang for "my" buck.

I purchased the both front & rear sways from member on site, which also included both bushings & brackets for $80 shipped.
I had the install done at Royal Wheel & Tire in Arlington, MA. a local shop for $40.
It took roughly 45min for the install from start to finish.

I only installed just the rear since the front sway isn't compatible with my G37xS due to the unique bending...the AWD front sway is already thicker at 31.7mm compared to 26.7mm for the RWD.
Hotchkis sways are 35mm for the front and 27mm rear.

The car feels tighter in corners...a lot more planted.
The stock understeer is gone...I thought the larger rear sway bar might have added oversteer, but it didn't.
Handling was very neutral and felt more stable.
Steering is also improved...less lag and more responsive.
I can feel the ride is a little harsher on road irregularities, such as small potholes, uneven pavement and slight bumps.

My wife did noticed the "difference" in the way the G drove, but didn't find the ride to being any harsher...which is a good thing!

This is definitely worth the $120 spent.
Anyone with a G37x sedan who's on a budget should highly consider this upgrade compared to Hotchkis.
Wow, I'm impressed how resourceful you were in getting your sways. You deserve to have them at such a good price.

Thanks!

I try to research as much as possible before I make a final decision.
Hotchkis sways are more of an improvement compared to just the OEM set up I have, but $ for $...this was the best for me.

Yeah, I did some shopping, and found a vendor that was able to sell it to me $360 shipped after some negotiation. Other vendors didn't want to drop that much down in price.

Every vendor on here sells it for about $395 shipped.

Hopefully, I can get the front and rear installed for $80. The Hotchkis sways broke my wallet.

My best price was quoted $375 shipped, so you did really good.
I would say Royal Wheel & Tire should give you a good price on the install.

The end results will be well worth it!

Yeah, what I did was show them the TireRack price, which was $352 + $20 shipping. I asked them to beat it and they dropped it from there. I thought it was pretty good compared elsewhere.

I'm looking at Tirerack right now, and they don't have Hotchkis sways for the RWD Sedan.

Mine is the 2007 v36 G35x sedan, so we use the 22443 sway bars, same as the G37x sedan.

Hotchkis Sport Suspension Sport Anti-Roll Bars

I guess this should help all G37x sedan owners if they want to upgrade their sway bars cheaper than elsewhere. Although not sure why Hotchkis didn't update their site to include 2012-2013 G37x models, so TireRack won't list it for 2012-2013 Infiniti G37x sedans...

From Hotchkis Site:
Item# 22443 fits 07-08 G35X (Sedan) , 08 -11 G37X (Coupe & Sedan) AWD Models Only.

That's the AWD Sedan. I have the 6MT.

Also, I like the OP's plan. After seeing the difference in size between stock and Hotchkis, I thought it might have been a waste to change the front. Rear alone is a good plan.

Haha, I was the one who made the price go down. I reported it for a price match to TireRack two months ago.

I'm really interested in these numbers...Well just the rear diameter:

RWD G-Sedan (Non-Sport)
??.? mm Front
??.? mm Rear

Bueller? Bueller?

I swapped my journey sways for S sedan sways (purchased from Rochester) and the OD of the tubing is the same, and the weight is very similar. I assume the tubing wall thickness is a bit more on the S sways but that's it, not much difference in road handling IMO. I have coils and low profile 20s so the ride is already pretty firm. I think the S package taken as a whole will be more significant, but just the S sways not so much.
