Drilled Slotted Rotors

Recently installed Power Stop drilled and slotted rotors on front of 2009 G37X.
While driving - coasting in particular, I notice a bit of a metallic rubbing sound coming from the front. Is this normal for those type of brakes?

The rear pads are low and I am considering NOT using the Power Stop kit there because of the noise/problem in the front.

Any advice/help??!!!

i have drilled/slotted rotors on my G and i do not have any rubbing or sound coming from anywhere while coasting.

i would check to make sure that the pads are installed correctly.

also, if the rear pads are low the rubbing sound may be coming from there.....possibly.

Are those the ebay brakes for like 175 bucks for the whole set up? if so I had them on my 335i and they warped and rubbed after very few miles. They are complete junk.

Not from Ebay - I purchased them from Power Stop - they seem to be a reputable company.

Also, I have listened intently and the noise is definitely from the front

Did you install the powerstop K2915 evolution pacakage? I am planning to buy them. Is it a good upgrade?
