Hopefully I've filled my quota for awhile. i made it past 3k miles - so i should be good to go. The two above both happened at 2400ish.
HORRIBLE Los Angeles Drivers.
I've spent 10k on upgrades for my EX. It's really a sport wagon versus a crossover. Like the Audi avant. I would think about trading it back for a new sedan - if this looks like what i think it will.

I am not impressed with the rendering, it looks like a downsized M. Yes, the rear half even looks like a current gen Maxima, but I will hold my judgement until it is officially revealed.

Some crazy speculation, but there are some Japanese websites reporting that the G will have:
VQ30VD (250 HP/228 LB.FT - 31.8 MPG )
VQ30VDT (330 HP/290 LB.FT - 30.6 MPG)
I could see them coming out during an MMC, but I would be very surprised to see them during introduction.
I would be very happy though.

I'm assuming they're simply adding direct injection to the current VQ37 for launch.

Turbo would not likely have the same higher HP and lower torque characteristics of the current 3.7.
Either 300/300 like the BMW or more likely higher torque than HP (300/325 like the Volvo). Of course you get these at much lower (and quieter and more efficient) rpms...

Believe what you want but I have an acquaintance who is on the committee for planning the Toronto auto show (which is a pretty big show) that takes place in February. They were told that the new G37 is not part of the Infiniti lineup for display because Infiniti is debuting it in NY. If the new G37 is in Detroit, it would certainly be in Toronto 6 weeks later. He also told me that an Infiniti model will be there that he never heard of that is supposed to a new model line.
And to the poster who thinks why would Infiniti debut a model that they think will help Euro sales in Detroit. There is such thing as the internet, debuting it at a Euro show will not increase sales. The car will be sold in N America as well, they just expect greater sales in Europe where people like smaller, more fuel efficient cars.
All I am saying is what I was told. Don't you guys find it a little odd that Infiniti is not saying come see the debut of the brand new G37. It happens next month. Why would they hide that? When the new Mustang comes out, they will be hyping thier auto show debut months in advance as with almost every other new gen car that comes out. They are purposely vague because its a brand new model line. Anyways you guys will see next month. Don't say you weren't warned when you're pissed its not the new G.

I never said anything about electric. Someone else made that comment. And a FWD car can't be considered a sports sedan? It could be something else but it's not the new G37. I could be wrong but this is what this guy told me so that's my source. Unless someone has a better source than internet links then I'm sticking by that.
LOL, go ahead, why not. I stated where i got my info from and I can't say I'm 100% positive on this (my source may have his facts wrong but I doubt it since he owns an Infiniti and is very interested in the new G) But everyone here seems to be 100% positive based on assumptions. Don't worry, if I'm right a bunch of your guy's posts will be in my sig, that's for sure.
And Infiniti has scheduled a press conference after the unveiling at Detroit to state the new direction the company is taking and hell they even got a Cirque du Soleil show going on. To me that sounds like a lot of pagentry that would go hand in hand with unveiling a new model line in Detroit rather than a next gen G. Infiniti has been recently quoted as aiming at a "new era of inspiration, growing its market share, with the strategic expansion of its business worldwide." Sounds like something a new compact and more fuel efficient Infiniti line would accomplish. Us North Americans love our big HP cars with low fuel mileage but the rest of the world doesn't since they pay alot more for gas than we do.
The New York show could be just the North American unveiling of the G37, they may unveil it even sooner at the Geneva Motor Show in March. All I'm saying is it won't be in Toronto and that never happens with a model that debuts in Detroit the month before.
