G35x '07-'08 -> G37x '09 owners?

Going to change my G35x '07 to G37x '09 sedan. Please post your impressions - what are the changes in ride comfort, steering, power, etc.?

ill say this, every time I need to get a loaner car from the dealer, I get an 09+ and I HATE IT. the ride is bouncy and tall, interior is just not as nice, transmission is clunky and slow, and the engine is noisier. i understand i am probably bias and used to my car, but even when my car was not modded and needed a loaner, I hated it. My experience is based on the X only though.

i want to buy it from one my friend, a very good deal (he's car - 28000 miles, mine 67000 and 2 years older).

interior on '09 is the same, ride is really seems to be taller, but it is stock and I plan to put all my tuning to it.

Had another ride on this stock G37x yesterday and I can say my suspension feels better, as I have rear sway, front strut bar and very light 18" rims, though struts/springs combo seems to be a little bit stiffer on G37x which i like (I don't plan to change them, as I need stock clearance). Am I right about the struts or they feel the same as '07-'08?

Acceleration feels stronger on my G35x but I have rather loud exhaust and this can be only the sound of it... I plan to drag race with this G37x to see the truth Anyway G37x should be faster with the the same power mods, shouldn't it?

i went from 07 -> 11.

Power feels the same between the two. I don't feel the 22HP bump.
Suspension on my 07 felt stiffer.
Nav screen looks way better on the 11.
MPG is around 1 MPG lower on the 11 (EXACT same commute as before)
11 is way louder on cold start up for about 15 seconds. Sounds like a diesel (some say this is due to the VVEL)
Transmission is fine ( i don't have the issues others have w/ the 7EAT).
7th gear is useless. RPM's drop by about 200 @ 75 mph between 6th and 7th. I think they added 7th for marketing purposes
Seat heaters are way better on the 11
My 11 came w/ the Dunlops, which are still semi crappy, but light years ahead of those crap RSAs.

You don't "feel" any difference because the torque only increased by 1 lb/ft

G35 268 lb/ft at 4800 rpm

G37 269 lb/ft at 5200 rpm

You won't "feel" any difference

anyway I drag-raced that '09 G37x several times (DS, VDC OFF, from the stand still) and that's what I found:

- my car is faster by half of a body length from the stand still
- he reaches me at 60mph
- his car starts to be faster after 70mph and at 110-120mph he is one body length ahead

as I said his car is full stock (17" stock 225/55/17 winter tires), mine has full cat-back Borla H-pipe true dual + ART test pipes and 18" light rims (with the winter tires 225/50/18). my car is also about 90lbs heavier than stock G35x, as I have rather heavy custom subwoofer and a lot of sound deadening materials, so there's almost no weight differences!

I decided not to buy his car, but now I wonder, how would I make my car as fast as G37x after 70mph? It seems like I have more torque (that's why I "jump" from the stand still, though it can be lighter rims), but less hp. Maybe Uprev tune can cure that (I believe I have crappy AFR)?
