Best color for rims on black car?

I have a stock 2011 black G37 sedan with tinted windows. The rims on the stock G37 have to go. Should I stick with silver rims or go with black? Also, when I get them from Tirerack, can I get the stock back and sell them? I imagine I would be able to, but the problem is hauling 4 wheels around. They wouldn't be able to fit in my car!

Just set it up at a dealer to install your rims and tires and sell your stocks to them. We do it all the time.

Unless you have the 18" wheels I'd definitely get 18,19 or 20 inch rims w/ lower profile tires. The stiffer sidewalls will really improve your cornering and road-holding characteristics. It really is one of the best mods you can do since it improves the look and also significantly improves the drive. Here's my 20s on my black G37. And yes, I'm getting it lowered on Monday

Can we sell our stock wheels back to dealer?

I think he meant the tire dealer, not an Infiniti dealer (if that's what you meant). The tire shops refer to these as "take-offs", rims &/or tires that come off a new car to be replaced w/ upgraded rims &/or tires. You may get more for the rims if you sell them in the marketplace or Ebay, but you will need the TPMS sensors to put in your new wheels.

Wheels are definitely a huge upgrade but the color thing is just a preference. Some people say that you have to have the contrast and some people like the all blacked out style. There are so many options with machined finishes, bronze is a sick color on black, I have malbec black and gunmetal wheels, the possibilities are endless.

First place to start is the picture share section and starting looking at all of your options, come up with a budget, and then narrow it down from there.

Happy hunting

Malbec Black is such a great color, really looks classy & bad-a$$ at the same time.

I'm kind of partial to the matte black/machined look.

I favor gunmetal but hyper silver can look pretty hot too. As long as you get some quality, tasteful looking wheels it will look nice.
There are hundreds of good examples here and on g35driver.
