Looks good. Not sure next buyer would even notice.
Honestly, no body comes to realize my separating dash(the part that is know to separate, near the cluster) heck i didnt even realize it. Only ppl like me, who know its there will notice the small details.
a few friends got in the car and i even showed them the paddle shifters and none realized i had cut the trim my self
Is it pretty much confirmed that 2011 G37x cars with Premium and Navigation packages are pre-wired for paddles? I don't want to take my column apart to inspect anything if I don't have to before ordering.
Had a chance to test-drive a G37 with paddle shift and was kind of annoyed that the paddles don't spin with the steering wheel, like some other cars that I've driven. I noticed it when downshifting in a left turn, and then trying to upshift, which seemed a little difficult to coordinate. Maybe it's just me.

This was done by design. When you're turning your wheel, you may lose orientation of up/down left/righ on the wheel, and end up mixing up the paddles. With them being stationary, left will ALWAYS be downshift and right will be upshift.
