Anyone with Koni Adjsutable w/ OEM springs?
So I bought the Koni adjustable shocks/struts for all 4 corners. Rears went in with no trouble. Front is another beast b/c of a multitude of trouble (stripped passenger side steering knuckle bolt at top, Koni shipped product with no circlip attached to the passenger side strut).
Question I have is this - who's running OEM springs + Koni adjustable?
The Koni's appear to be about 1" shorter than stock and I'm having trouble compressing the spring far enough to get the top hat onto it.
Curious if this combination is even possible? Or does Koni adjustable REQUIRE a lowering spring (which I dont want - being 53 years old).
Thx for the help.

BTW I have these koni yellows on my sedan with OEM springs. I like them alot, make the car feel much more refined. I run full soft on all four corners.

Haha, you are not the first guy that makes this mistake. I believe a sedan guy on here installed them upside down, and his car look like a 4x4 afterward

Will report on this experience once I'm through with this. I'm also gonna do a right on the benefits of 3M sound deadening in the wheel wells. Right now I have no idea if it'll work, but here's a sneak peak at it in the rear wheel well.

Yep - figured out the need to have it facing out as I was putting it in.
I'm still a little confused about the "sweeping" of the rear adjustments.
Based on what I've seen, the TOTAL sweep length is only about 90-110 degrees. Thats it. I could not go past that amount. Is that your case as well for the total-sweep?
I have the rears set to full soft + about 15-degrees (which is a 1-small hole past the full soft setting).
Any clarifications on the sweep-length would be appreciated.

so this is how I understand it as well.
So my question is, does this full sweep correspond to about a 90-110 degree turn of the pick that is inserted into the shock? I couldn't get it to ever go past that point. I also didnt feel any distinguishable "clicks" along the way. I just turned it until it couldnt go any further.
Can't wait to get the G back on the road, just north of you (Cary, NC).

The rears would work, but the front dampers won't. Something about the front driveshaft and the shock mounts being different.
Some Koni applications (WRX for example) are inserts that use the OEM shock body. There might be a way to gut a Koni front and replace the internals of the OE shock
