I thought that might be the case but still sounds way off... I had my dealer (because I was there for warranty work anyways) mount and balance tires on wheels I brought in, with sensors I brought in, and program them to the car... The labor was $129.95, at the dealer.
Thinking about it a bit more and reading your post, you're right, even at $400 for the total labour its hatefully high...this is a dealership that despises its customers if its trying to charge that much.
Like the title says, car is a 2011 and now 6 years later the batteries are dying. The dealer wants like $200 per sensor. Where are yall buying new ones? I cannot stand living with a light on the dash, so that's not an option. I found an old thread, but the link is dead
Thanks yall!
Ordered mine through
ROCKAUTO.com
DENSO 5500304 (550-0304) (2008 G37s Coupe)
$43.79 each
Worked great, had them programmed at the dealer, dont know if they are the same part# as yours.

Reason: price/etc
My local dealer wanted $149 to program mine and it was a painful process to even explain why I needed to program them. I need to run by a Discount Tire or similar to see if they'll program them for me.
