What size should I purchase?

So I just bought some Wedssports SA15R 18x9.5 +38 square setup. The tires currently mounted are 275/35/ZR18. Planning on buying meatier tires. Should 275/40/18 be enough to clear the minor gap? I don't wanna lower the car anymore than it already is.What size should I purchase?-photo556.jpgWhat size should I purchase?-photo659.jpg

Nice looking setup there! A 275/40 is a better fit, will get you real close to OEM diameter to keep your speedometer accurate and will add a 1/2" to your sidewall so should fill in that gap a nice amount. Should be happy with that plan.

Agreed, 275/40/18 will be the ideal size. Nice and meaty

Those wheels really suit the car. Even I have been considering downsizing to 18s to shed some weight. I wish weds had slightly aggressive offsets as I don't want to use spacers.

Thanks! Yeah I downsized from my staggered 19" to this square 18" setup for track purposes. They don't look as aggressive but if I do decide to push the wheels further outward I have extended ARP studs already installed and some spacers sitting in my garage.

Looks great! I'd actually not guess those were 18's. You're my doppleganger.

I actually have a midnight grille that's yet to go on. Really surprised at how non-bronze those look. I didn't go with the Wedssports because I wasn't convinced I'd like the bronze but those look awesome on the car.

😍 that IPL body just looks sexy. And yeah the bronze wedssports really only look bronze when ur up close but from afar it's kind of hard to tell.

How is the steering feel with the 275? Has it become a lot heavier ?

Very nice! Love the look of 18s, it's what I currently run. (18x9.5 +38 as well!)

What tires are you on?

Just bought Sumimoto HTR ZIII 275/40/ZR18. Planning on tracking pretty soon.
