how to mod a G37s
I recently bought a 2009 g37s and have about 2k left over that I am willing to put in to the car and was wondering what the best mods are i can buy for 2k? I am interested in both the looks of the car and the performance.

If you want to make your monster truck look like a car again as well as better handling performance, go with lowering your suspension. i.e.) Coilovers. I wouldn't suggest lowering springs as many here will say that it's too bouncy compared to coilovers.
If you want performance first, go with high flow cats/test pipes, drop-in intake filters/long tube intakes, and exhaust. You might need to spend a little more change with all three depending on the setup.
I'd put off on aesthetics until after performance mods first, but that's just me. I would rather go faster than look good first.

if looking cool means you enjoy scraping bottom, tearing up your front bumper, and driving super slow over speedbumps, potholes, dips in the road or driveway/parking lot entrances, then by all means lower away.
bonus points for unsafe "stanced" camber.

no, "stanced" was bonus points.
i had a lowered car before, and it was a PITA. When i say lowered, i mean i only did it for handling, and it was lowered the least amount i could get away with, and i still regretted it. i don't recommend it for a daily driver.
for a weekend fun car, or if you have pristine roads where you live, sure.
