Q60 in Real Life

Finally saw the new Q60 in person the other day and I was pleasantly surprised. In just about all the pictures I've seen, I kept thinking Accord coupe when looking at the last half of the car. The Q60 looks great on the road, both front view and rear.

ya it looks good. one of my coworkers got one. i have not had a chance to check the inside out yet and take it for a spin. i am really curious how the 3L turbo performs.

I was given a 3.0L Turbo (Q50) as a loaner while my G37 was in for the 60K service. I thought the power was on par with the outgoing 3.7 engines. But it was quiet, which threw me off; I mean not even that wonderful cold start that we all love. I'm not sure if they made any changes to the exhaust for the Q60s to get give it more of a sporty noise. I had to really hit it to get some feedback.

But I do love the front of both Q50 and Q60, but I do miss the tail lights of the Gs, especially on the Coupes.

i still haven't seen a new Q60 on the road - just the ones sitting on the lot of the Infiniti dealer i pass on the way to work.

are these things a sales flop?

see quite a few Q50's, though.

Have seen at least 5 RCF's on the road compared to 1 q60. I am gonna have to give design points to q60, but people probably don't like the dated 7AT or are feeling iffy about a v6 with turbos under the hood and want to go naturally aspirated V8

Not so much a sales flop as a luxury vehicle that isn't saturated. The Q60's are easily $40k+ and the Q50's are $30k+ anyone who drops that cash for a car is looking at used Corvettes, new/used Mercedes, Used Porches, used/new Lexus, even Used Maserati's compared to infinity. It is a hard price range to market in to, especially for a sedan/coupe.

I've seen 1 on the road. I personally feel some angles make it look great, while other angles make it awkward. From a drivetrain/updated interior perspective, I've driven a Red S Q50 and sat in the new Q60 and was generally underwhelmed. It's certainly powerful compared to the NA 3.7 (not by as much as I expected), but it didn't hit all the right spots for me.

Yeah... i went to the release event at the dealer out here, even took it around the block a few times, got to floor it as well. to me it looks good from front facing angles.
I didn't get to drive the red sport but this one didn't influence me to buy...

I was disappointed in the way the back end looked. Over all I like the car but too much chrome (what is this, the 90's!?) and the rear reminds me of an ILX which is not good. Oh and the exhaust note is non-existent...also a problem

chrome = classy!

if i ever got one, the FIRST thing i would do is black out that grille and window trim. looks horrible.

I finally saw one on the road last week, an RS to boot. Thought it looked decent enough but I'm not sold on the front end any longer. Not aggressive enough.
