Tips on buying rims

Hey guys, looking to buy some rims for the summer, right now I have winter tires on stock rims on my g37. Im looking to get 19'' rims specifically Niche Citrines, with a bronze finish. Anyone have experience with these rims? Dos and Donts?

The bronze finish looks nice but that busy spoke pattern would take hours to detail. I'd go w/ the Niche Form if you want bronze at that price point.

Funny, I was just looking at the Forms right now
As far as detailing goes, I don't mind, I like to spend hours cleaning my car anyways. However, it will be hard to choose a rim, when there are so many nice ones.

I had Niche wheels this past season and have already sold them. Quality is eh. Made in China. Depreciate quickly in value.

What about the quality is bad?

First piece of advice I have is to call them by their proper name...

Wheels not rims

As for Niche they have a decent reputation and the prices of their WHEELS are greats as well! Any pictures of the exact type/color you're planning on? Also what color is your coupe?

I just recently threw my Niche Targa's on about a month ago and have been happy with them. Too early to give you a detailed review though.

Nice choice on the rims though :-)

Niche is just average wheels. They won't be super light compared to what some of the people on this site run, but if you're not tracking your car and just want it to look better they'll treat you fine. Ignore everyone that'll say if you need to spend 2k+ on a set of wheels straight from Japan.

Im looking to get either Niche Citrines or Forms, in the Bronze color. My G37 is a coupe with Black Obsidian paint, no mods (yet), besides window tint.

Like I said previously, the Form would be much easier to detail and the simpler design would go well on your black coupe. The Citrine is a very busy face, IMO it's not a great look on a g that you're keeping closer to stock. There's some Bronze TSW wheels that have some nice looks too~

If you do decide on a particular wheel shoot me a PM and I can help w/ offset or post in the wheel folder and someone can chime in.

Thanks! Im looking to buy these for the summer so I will be purchasing in the next few months. Also looking for an aggressive stance, so I will need help with the offset.

I agree with Brad about the Form wheel looking better for the Niche ones. I like that TSW one more though, and it's similar to what I might be upgrading to in a year or two.

I'm not really a fan of either but, if they were being given to me, I'd take the Forms.
