Thanks guys,

That's where I thought it was. I felt around on the inside with my tire still on but I couldn't really tell why this area would cause so many issues. My tires right now on are 255/30/20. And I have Vossens on with a +20 offset I believe.

Anyhow, I'll jack it up and look, maybe even take the tire off and get my melon in there to check it out. I'd like to go up to 265 with my new tires that I need so I may need to shave things down.... don't know.

But thanks for confirming that I was at least looking in the right place.

Take care fellas

Great thanks kennyz!!!

How much do you know about car lighting?!?!

I'm having a huge pain with my HID's and LED's. The issue got real bad after someone hit me in the front driver side light assembly and it had to be replaced. Now they are all screwed up!

Great! Thanks Nick!

I'll have to explain my situation a little bit and build up to the problem so you will have all the info you need to make a proper diagnosis or guesstimate.

I have a 2008 G37 Sport Coupe AT. It is only driven in the summer months as I live in Niagara Falls, Canada and winters are not good.

I put lower fog lights into the car following TVPostSounds instructions. They are 8000k HID on ballasts. They run to a relay and then to the battery. These lights more often than not work fine, but sometimes one or the other won't come on. And if I can remember correctly it usually happens when the battery is low. Moving up from the lower fog lights we come to the main fog lights, with parking lights just underneath them. These main fog lights are set up as 8000k HID with ballasts, exactly the same as the ones below. and the parking light is just a LED.

Now these main upper fog lights are the ones that always give me problems, its usually one or the other that doesn't come on. And when it doesn't come on neither does the little LED that's just under the fog light. From these upper fog lights we move to the regular cat's eye looking light. And usually the drivers side never comes on when the passengers side does. I had the car into Nissan and I have one technician who is very good work on my car and try to figure out my light issue. he said there was a few loose pins where the wires go in but that alone wasn't the problem. he thinks it's the Light and turn signal control arm needs to be changed. I don't know....I want to say the HID lights I use are Lumens with ballasts and the regular cats eye bulb has been replaced and is a 12000k Lumens bulb plugged into the ballast thats with the light.

So rarely do I have all lights come on as they are supposed to. I am constantly playing with the lighting arm trying to get the lights to activate properly. If anyone has any input into getting the lights to come on as they are supposed to that would be great.

Thanks guys!!!
