Enthusiast recommendation on exhaust situation

Quick question for members, my car was throwing service engine light P2A00. Took it to the dealer and they said have two cracked catalytic converters and one needs to be replaced because leaking ($1008 per cat). They also recommend replacing resonator pipe due to damage($885). Also, the car muffler exhaust was making a lot of noise due to internal baffle plates loose and want ($870.72 axleback). All in all, dealer wants +$3500 to replace one cat, one resonator pipe and muffler.

Anybody have any good advice?

Don't really want to get any loud after market exhaust; although, I do like the sound of the GThaus exhaust but that is $2000 and don't even know if that is full catback?

DO also like the Infiniti Sport Muffler but it is only axleback, and I don't know if I should replace the whole cat-back since one of the resonator pipes is "damaged" scrapped or maybe just weld any of the damage up?

Also, don't know if should buy the stock catalytic converters or aftermarket, just don't want to buy aftermarket and avoid my warranty in case something goes wrong with my engine which has happened. Don't know if I should purchase Nissan catalytic converters for $704 piece with a $140 core charge back?

Any savvy Infiniti enthusiast have any ideas on how to fix this issue by keeping my car sounding clean without possibility of avoiding any warranties on my engine?

FYI, been searching all week through exhaust posts just trying to find questions specific to my situation.

Thank you for the the advice and experience.

LOL @ $3500. If you don't want loud go with nvidia. If you want something with a little more bite, go Ark or Fast intentions (listen for the sound you want between the the two). GTHAUS is really loud so that probably won't fit your criteria. As for cats, fast intentions all the way.

What year is your car by the way?

You can buy used stock exhaust on ebay. I have seen some in the for sale section as well. You could also find the parts on ebay or junk yards. Don't EVER go to a dealer for non warranty work. You can see why lol.

EDIT? I thought cats were covered under federal warranty for life??

Buy those parts used for dirt cheap. Probably less than $1K for all te parts you listed in excellent condition. Problem solved.

Also if your lowered its almost certain youll scrape your exhaust one way or another. Regardless of how you drive. Hell my flex coupler has seen better days.

Dont see the year of your car or anything but there was a TSB on muffler noise (rattle in main muffler). Maybe you could work something out and just worry about the cats.

Thanks everyone your advice has been good. Car is G37 Coupe Type S 2009. They said the warranty doesn't cover the CATs because they been scrapped. I was trying not to make the car look importish so I was trying to stay away from the big exhaust cans even though that nvidia did sound nice. Do you think if I put on aftermarket cats such as Fast Intentions it might later down the road avoid warranties if anything happen to engine? You can already see where the blame my shift if you catch my drift.

I have a stock sport coupe exhaust for sale, if you want it PM me, I just put on a GThaus myself... Love it! It's quiet with a deep rumble when driving normally, but LOUD when you step on it.... Love it.

Edit: not selling cats as they're still on the car, just y pipe, mid pipe, and axel back with hardware.
