Erratic RPM?

Hi all,
When listening to my exhaust (after tsb replacement) in neutral, I noticed when the revs hit 4000, they jump back down to 1500 and fluctuate back and forth between 1500 and 2000. My foot position on the pedal never changes. I have tested this a couple of times and every time the same thing. I tried this on my other car that has electronic throttle and it holds just fine.

Any input is appreciated!

i had this problem as well. take it into infiniti and let them know of the fluctuation. They updated the ECU and It was fine after. maybe you have a different problem than what I had but the update took care of it.

Not at idle. I was revving the engine up while sitting in the driveway. Soon as I ht 4000 is when it started.
