Thanks guys! Even the dyno shop was shocked on the gains. They said it was definitely the highest G37 gains they did with intakes only.

1- I only did an ECU reset to get rid of the CEL, no ECU programming was done. Plan to do it maybe after the headers, cats, n catbacks (stay tuned :P)

2- to clarify the AFR graph:
the top 2 lines are HP readings and the bottom two are the AFRs (blue = before, red = after)
so cvt is right, I'm running around 12's:1 after 6500rpm, not 15:1

3- and Chi-City-G: ur right, the dyno shop made a mistake the first time they dyno'd it so i had them make me another file and correct it later on. The 08 G37 passed away in a car crash, so all work is done on the same 2009 G37

im a little shocked at the gains, i put 278-282 awd hp after Gen 3's and a CBE were installed together before a tune and upped that to 294 after the tune. 301 after HFC's were installed. Mines an 09 X Coupe so im using the 7AT as well. just a little suprised how far ahead of my results yours are, i know theres differences between dynos but thats huge.

@ Romulus1: generally speaking, awd's have more drivetrain loss than 2wd's, so that might explain some of the difference.. I've actually seen a G37X coupe dyno somewhere here that did around 250ish hp stock!!

@ borfoo3 : i understand that, its just shocking that hes seeing a 30 hp gain from just an intake...

CVT mentioned that the average gain is 12-18 hp, even my awd was in that range. but hes got a dyno sheet, guess you cant argue with that

Yea, i read that stillen was around 17hp gain isn't it? and i have the idea that between intakes, their gains are similar, not much difference.

The top set of the graph is the HP, the AFR is the lower set and it's a tad rich actually. You can see how the Stillen is less restrictive and leaned out the mix over stock which is why you have the gains.

You're fine as is but there's room for a tune to add a few more HP mid to top.

@Romulus1: I agree with u.. the gains where way better than i was expecting. I had them do 4 pulls just to be sure it was true, and both dynos were done in the same shop, same dyno, same person.. I wouldn't blame you though, even the dyno guy didn't believe it

Interesting that you had a CEL after installing the Gen3's. I installed mine myself and didn't have a CEL, and I've never heard of anyone else having a CEL after installing either

Great dyno and great information. Now I'm getting the Gen3 for sure and maybe even the grounding kit.

How much was the Dyno btw?

Great post, this is definitely the way to prove gains with a mod. Nice back to back dyno and those AF ratios look good.
