OEM all-weather mats

I've seen a number of folks rave about OEM all-weather mats and I've searched the forum to find specifics about these mats, ie what mat model and vendor but am a bit confused still...

Can someone recommend a specific set of OEM all-weather mats for the G37 coupe and a vendor? I'm in the northeast, so it makes sense to get some befor the winter sets in for my new coupe.

Now for the dumb question...do the OEM all-weather mats replace the carpet mats that came with the car or do they sit on top of those mats?

Is a trunk liner worthwhile?

I've seen the mats/liner at weathertech and they seem nice but not sure about fit, etc. I also don't see folks specifically call out weathertech in the threads I've searched/scanned where term 'OEM all-weather mats' is found....

Thanks for any help you can offer with specific recommendations...

Thanks for the [quick] reply!

Pix would be great but I don't want to put you to any trouble...my main question is how is the fit? Do they move around at all and do they protect the carpet that they don't cover or spill over at all?

Are they worth the price or are there less expensive alternatives that are comparable?

That picture looks like the weathertech digitalfit mat? It does not look like the mat that is recommended for the coupe when I search the weathertech site (#W24-W50).

This one (#44156-1-2):?
http://www.weathertech.com/store/mvp...OptChoiceIds=9

However, the digitalfit mat (#44156-1-2) only comes up as a product intended for G37 sedan - I know you have a coupe as do I.

This is the coupe mat that comes up in the model search for 09 G37 coupe (#W24-W50):
http://www.weathertech.com/store/mvp...1312&Year=2008

So which one do you have?

Does it fit well in your coupe?

Do you have the 2nd row mats as well?

How about trunk liner?

BTW - thanks for the picture and all the replies!

They do make WeatherTech HD (order directly from their website) for the Coupe.
These are the ONLY mats that won't wear or tear...
OEM floor mats and rubber-based all-season mats all worn out rather quickly.

Thanks again.

I will email weathertech and ask them which mats provide the best fit for the 2009 G37 coupe.

weathertech

Here is the question I posed to weathertech and their response:

Question:
I asked this question in an online forum (https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-cou...ml#post2724471) and one member told me that he bought the FloorLiner DigitalFit #44156-1-2 for his 2008 G37 coupe but your site states that model is intended for the 2009 G37 sedan, not the coupe.

I like the FloorLiner DigitalFit #44156-1-2 and would like to know if it will fit my 2009 G37 coupe? Or if my only option for best fit is the Floor Mats All-Weather #W24-W50?

Response:

Thank you for your interest in MacNeil Automotive.

As noted on our website, the FloorLiners are only available for the G37 sedan model. For the coupe, only the All-Weather mats are available. The All-Weather mats are not custom molded for each application rather they are assigned based on the size we find to have the best fit out of the 100 different sets we currently offer.

Please let us know if you have further questions and we will be happy to help.

Best regards,

MacNeil Automotive
