This Q60 photoshop looks more believable...

This happens to be a gorgeous car. Careful though! Don't think your gonna drive this one home @ a G37 Coupe price tag, you'll be lucky if can get the base price of this car at what a Fully loaded every option 2014 IPL Coupe would cost. To play in a luxury market not only do you have to look the role, you have to cost the role too. This car has both of those...

That photoshop looks good. I do think the light's need a little more shape. Most importantly, Infiniti needs performance numbers. Needs less weight and more power if it wants to stay afloat. So far the Q50/60 is no match for the Germans. Even Lexus redesigned F-line is a better move for general consumers and enthusiast.

^^ that's great, really is, cause he was bashing the way the car looked.... The NUMBERS and overal performance for the amount of money spent on German cars and now the new price point for Infiniti, is what he's talking about guy. Why spend the same money on a car that will look good with performance significantly lacking then it's competitors. Enthusiasts will not go for look. We bought 37's because it was a well balanced car, as far as money, power luxury and sportiness. It was the best bang for the buck, it wasn't number 1 in any of those categories but it did everything really well compared to its competitors. That's all changed now

Nice third post
I do think the photoshop "dream" looks good. Was just saying the lights look a bit obsolete. Both the headlights and fog lights look older generation, not really aerodynamic couture.
As a former Nissan Fan boy... Owning two 350z's and a G37 IPL, I want to see Infiniti stay competitive. You'll start to see many comparison's next year. The new Infiniti coupe will be in the same class as the cheaper CLA and Lexus F-line. After reading several recent articles from the execs, it's clear Infiniti doesn't stand a chance in the performance category.
The CLA AMG will be priced around 47,000$, the BMW 435i around 46,000$ And Lexus IS350 F sport around 44,000$. Even the Lexus performance will fall short to Germans. Lexus does have the edge in styling and reliability.

As you see, clearly the Essence is being benchmarked by 2-door design proposals during what are likely reenactment video scenes from 2012-13 (Q50 designed in 2011, yet features 2012-present President JdN?).
Clearly some parts are from the actual Q50 development process in 2011, while some scenes were obviously reenacted and likely filmed between July 2012 and February 2013 due to the inclusion of de Nysschen(took office July 1, 2012).
They may seem like strictly G37/Q50 proposals, but might not be. The lateness of these extra scenes may have revealed plans for the Q60.
Very nice and realistic image. This identical image surfaced in January 2012 in B&W.
I have to wonder if this was a real earlier coupe proposal, that got canned along with the original MY2012 sedan redesign due to V37 project delay in April 2010?
There was a earlier V37 sedan design signed off on in 2009, but ditched 1 year before scheduled reveal at NYIAS in April 2011.

New Q60 confirmed with timeframe before 2018! Wtf. I have a 2008 that I purchased in 2007. If they wait that long some people might jump ship to other brands

Hey MidlifeCrisis!! For the convience for the forum I posted the picture of the link above, so we can cut out the middle man, lol. While I don't think that rendering looks horrible, it just doesn't seem to be enough for as long as they are taking to release this car. Maybe I would need to see what the side and back profile look like. If they are holding the current body style for this long they need to make it worth my wait, as I am still holding onto my 2008 coupe until this is released. At this point I hope this isn't a accurate rendering.
