Stillen Supercharger post-install issues

Hello everyone.

After installing the Stillen Supercharger kit and using Stillen's tune, the car began exhibiting the following:

Black smoke coming out of the tailpipes (burning rich)
Long cranks/turnovers
Occasionally long cranks/turnovers end up being startup failure
Periodic stalling when the car comes to a stop

If you have experienced the same issues as myself, please post here. Also, if you know how to solve these issues, please post that as well.

Thanks everyone.

cars is flooding out, let me guess stillen's can tune rigth! it running super rich. Mine wouldn't even start, I had to get a updated tune from them.

Other thing is to check all you intake pipes and make sure everything is connected, air intake pipe off will do the same thing.

That's correct.

The car is still at Stillen. There appears to be a fuel problem with their tune.

what are your mods outside of the stillen sc...
my thoughts are perhaps the tune that comes with it takes into account additional mods..
hence rich.. for liability reasons...

I had no luck at all with the Stillen tune and had to get my car flatdecked from the installation shop to a custom tuner for uprev. Good luck dealing with Stillen. Do you have an AFR gauge? if not you need to get one. Even after I got a custom tune I had issues with a "rich bog". It took several data logging session after the dyno tune to get that worked out. I;m surprised that ANMVQ has not mentioned this (not related to your current issue), but you should replace the pathetic Stillen intercooler while you are at it.

Well that really sucks and I'm sorry you have to deal with it. Hopefully everything gets worked out soon. I'll be staying away from their products until they can get their act together.
