There was one for sale last week. Tuning is an absolute must. My afr's went crazy lean after the M370 install. I just re flashed with more fuel with a 12.8 fuel target and even though I haven't logged there is a definite increase in felt power.

Still no real proof of that though since only 1 persons shown the difference with the two. No proof if nothing was changed with the before and after. Then there's the question what if we port the M370?

On the 30th I'll be showing the difference of stock vs my ported TB's, upper and lower manifolds. Maybe I can swing in a M370 but I doubt it.

I was just retuned with a tuner that did my friends the week before. It's so hard to judge different cars, wheels, parts, weather etc. but he was on top in the end.

The truth ? Is just from my dyno I know my car started going rich up top but I lost like 10 WHP from my last run and the only difference was the M370 and I was on my custom cold air intake and not Takedas. Btw 300 WHP run was NO tune and made 300whp and the run with M370 was only 280whp and over 7100 it fell like a rock

I'm going to slap a set of Takedas on and reflash a revision and go back to the dyno 12-6

What can say is if I don't see numbers improve in going back to the stock manifold .

I'm sorry but I wouldn't call this proof. Days and days are in between with very different weather conditions.

Out of all the mods I have tested, this was the only one to lose power. Even if the conditions varied by day, the loss at the top end is indisputable.

Does anyone have a z1 intake vs m370 dyno with everything else the same?
Or z1 vs stock with everything else the same?

I was about to buy the z1 and now im not so sure.

edit:
Here is a graph from the z1 website, if it is true (everything else the same and tuned for both) then I feel that the z1 is better. If they didn't retune for the m370, then who knows?

I do,

The M370 made more power everywhere except up top where they made the same. 287 WHP.
Everything was the same, EX! The tune on the car was for the M370. But just strait swap over of manifolds!
I didnt have an overlay of the AF's but the AF's are leaner with Z1.

hypertech waste of $$ UPREV tune.

If it was a tune for the M370, and you swapped the Z1 on it and it went lean, that means the Z1 is flowing more air. That would be my guess at least. And if it flows more air, then I'd guess that the Z1 would make more power with a dedicated tune on it.

Yea well see how thatworks on the 15th when i get my tune. BTW with a ported lower. I "may" swap on the ported M370 first and see what it looks.

Sounds good. Will probably wait to decide which intake manifold to go with until then.
