U can't take the ecutek tune off once your ecu has been flashed. U can take off the uprev tune and reuse on another car

You can flash it back to oem, but you can't reuse the license on another car.

I'm sure Ecutek has better features but for the "average" person Uprev does seem to be "friendlier and easier" to me at least. Also for everyone else who is deciding which software to use, just because one product is better does not mean the other one is bad.

The software is fairly easy to use for both. Mind you, EcuTek does not have any end-user support. You need to be a master tuner, whereas you can tune your own car with Uprev if you'd like to.
