DIY: clock light fix
#1
clock light fix
First
I started with prewired 3mm LEDS
Then I separated the clock housing and ran the wires through the top of the clock through pre-existing holes in the housing
Next I ran the 2 LEDs under the clock face one at 12 the other at 6
Then attached my positap connectors
Then reassembled everything and then reinstalled in car is next step
On your clock connector plug tap your positive lead from the LEDs to blue wire and negative to the small black one.
Final results.. although the balance of light isn't perfect it is a good cheap fix around $10 and even has dimming function
