I recently did this mod, and put a switch from a Polaris ATV in a spot where a blank unused switch was located. Take a peek! I tried to purposely hit the switch with my leg. It's almost impossible.

You wouldn't change your daily driving dynamics doing this, the car is only awd up to 12mph or if the rear tires slip. It would only affect it during times of traction, which would bring you from awd, to an open diff rwd.
I read on a thread that they do have it but I'm starting to think it was incorrect. Cuz of the vdc system
Yeah I've seen a few people say they do but I'm almost certain they don't. Infiniti certainly didn't make their packaging and options the easiest to follow on the G.
Ik this is a long shot but is there anyone that can help me fix my car I accidentally blew the fuse by flipping the switch while the car was still on and when i changed the 10A fuse it still wont fix itself don’t know what im doing wrong. its a 2013 g37xs. HELP!!

If you scroll to the top of this thread and look through the pictures you will find a screen shot of a signal table from the FSM. This shows that there are three power inputs to the AWD module. All three inputs are sourced from three 10 amp fuses in separate locations throughout the car. One is in the fuse block behind the drivers kick panel, the other is in the IPDME/R under the hood in the battery compartment and the third is in the fusable link block on the red battery terminal.
Also, still referring the first post in this thread, check to see if your AWD mod switch is inline with the green wire on pin 7 of the AWD module conenctor.
Ther green wire on pin 7 sends power to the AWD module from the start switch circuit so that when the car is turned on the module recieves power on pin 7 and loses power when the car is switched off. Since this puts the AWD mod switch in-line with the start switch there will be less chance of blowing a fuse since the AWD module expects power to be switched on and off through this circuit.

So your saying you spliced the green wire and just connected a new wire from there to the switch? so there is only 1 wire connected to the back of the switch and just makes the AWD change from on to off?
So please let me know if I am about to do this right before I cut some wires to try to properly wire the switch . Cut the green wire, then does the green wire remaining in wire harness connect to positive end of the switch and the end of the green that is cut and coming from the wire jacket should go to ground on the switch to properly wire this switch so that AWD is always turned on unless the switch is switched? Please someone let me know

Basically you will be putting the switch inline with the wire, meaning to cut the wire and put one end of the wire to one side of the switch and the other end to the other end of the switch.
Noticed you have an 07 G35 Sedan, You will also need to verify the connector wire positions with a wiring diagram to ensure you working on the correct wire since it may not always be the green wire, especially on 1st runs af a new generation.
