Just curious if you (or anyone else) ever tried using this OEM type switch to completely disable the traction control?

I don't think anyone has tried it. You should try it. Just don't put everything back together if it doesn't work just get a toggle switch.

I might just do that. I'm planning to do this mod when I install my new seats since I'll need to wire in the seat heater switches at the same time anyway. If I try the OEM switch I'll let everyone know how it works out.

I really like this mod. Just for the fact that before I race you can warm up the tires for better launches

^ Agree 100%. I also really need to be able to fully disable this since I have an issue with the traction control kicking in even at full acceleration at 30 - 70 mph even with the OEM traction control switch turned off. Seems it still thinks the tires are accelerating so fast that they must be spinning, which in some cases they are, but only slightly above 50 or 60.

Damn. What mods do you have? Yeah it works great for me, even though I don't have that issue lol

It's FI. Running a GTM Stage 2 SC and putting down 450 RWHP. Although not nearly what the Lt8Che is throwing down, it's still plenty to easily break loose my 305 wide Bridgestone S001's at speed.

I do have a Deatschwerks 300 L/Hr fuel pump and 750 cc injectors all set to install (running a Wahlberg 255 with 600 cc injectors now). I'm also planning to do a GTR intake manifold swap with the RJ Manufacturing adapter at the same time. More air, more fuel, and a tune should net me some extra HP!

Yeah, this mod is a must if you are FI and really want to enjoy your G/Z. Looks like you have a good plan ahead! I have some more goodies in store for early next month.

Did you ever end up doing this mod when you installed those custom seats?

Yup, sure did. But didn't use an OEM style switch since I also installed a Nissan/Infiniti fitment USB charging port in that location at the same time.

Yeah, i posted a separate thread - but it was ABS CONT FUSE inside the IPDM unit next to the battery. 10A Fuse. Replaced, all is good.
